The subject of the application is protein hydrolyzates having specific amounts of the amino acids arginine and lysine, which demonstrate improved properties in hair treatment compositions and in cleansing compositions for skin and hair, and also enzymatic methods for the preparation thereof, and the cosmetic compositions comprising same.

Protein hydrolysates

The present invention relates to a composition suitable as a shampoo or hair conditioner, comprising at least one surfactant, at least one cationic polymer, ethoxylated fatty acid glycerides, ethoxylated mono- and diglycerol esters, trimethylpropane EO/PO trioleate, NaCl and water. The present invention further relates to an intermediate suitable for preparing said composition, comprising ethoxylated fatty acid glycerides, ethoxylated mono- and diglycerol esters and trimethylpropane EO/PO trioleate.

Shampoos and conditioners having a conditioning effect

The invention relates to a cosmetic preparation that contains (a) at least one surfactant selected from anionic, zwitterionic or amphoteric surfactants, (b) a microemulsion and (c) at least one cationic polymer.
