An axial compressor providing a thermal adjustment of a housing of a compressor of a stationary gas turbine to the rotor is provided. A partial flow is decoupled from the compressor air flow for cooling gas turbine components. The contact of the partial flow decoupled from the compressor with the interior side of the housing is substantially limited, or even avoided, by a separating element in a collection chamber annularly encompassing the flow path in order to prevent the premature thermal heating of the gas turbine or of the housing during cold starting.

A thermal shielding brick is useable for lining a combustion chamber wall. The thermal shielding brick has a hot side, which can be exposed to a hot medium a wall side located opposite the hot side, and a peripheral side that is joined to the hot side and to the wall side. A damping element is placed on the peripheral side and effectively prevents fragments from detaching from the thermal shielding brick if broken. A combustion chamber having an inner combustion chamber lining, includes the thermal shielding bricks. Further, a gas turbine, includes the combustion chamber.

The invention relates to a heat-shield brick, in particular for lining a combustion chamber wall, comprising a hot side that can be exposed to a hot medium, a wall side that lies opposite said hot side and a peripheral side that lies adjacent to the hot side and the wall side and that has peripheral lateral face. A tensioning element, pre-stressed in the peripheral direction is provided on the peripheral side, whereby a compressive stress generated perpendicularly to the peripheral lateral face. The invention also relates to a combustion chamber comprising a combustion chamber lining, which has heat-shield bricks of this type and to a gas turbine comprising a combustion chamber.

In a heat shield arrangement, in which heat shield elements are arranged next to one another on a carrying structure and are anchored to the carrying structure, there is provision for a cooling-air duct, into which cooling air is fed and which the adjacent heat shield elements communicate with one another, to be formed by at least two adjacent heat shield elements between the carrying structure and the surface of the heat shield elements which faces away from the hot gas. What is achieved thereby is that the individual heat shield elements are interconnected to form continuous cooling-air ducts, with the cooling air introduced into the cooling-air ducts being collected and being led, for example, to a burner. Advantageously, the gaps between the heat shield elements are sealed off by sealing elements.
