A crossmember arrangement for reinforcing a motor-vehicle body includes a crossmember for dissipating loads in the Y direction, an intermediate piece, which is connected directly or indirectly to the crossmember and is intended for fastening the crossmember to a supporting pillar, in particular a B pillar, and a fastening body, which is connected to the intermediate piece and is intended for butting with surface-area contact against the supporting pillar. The fastening body is configured in the form of a chamber profile which runs predominantly in the Y direction. Dissipation of high loads in a motor-vehicle body is made possible, along with straightforward installation capability of the crossmember arrangement in the motor-vehicle body, as a result of the fastening body of the crossmember arrangement, the fastening body is configured in the form of a chamber profile, running essentially in the Y direction.

Crossmember arrangement

A folding-top compartment lid is held on a mounting support which can be moved into an open and a closed position by opening levers. To lock the folding-top compartment lid, locking hooks are provided, and these can be activated along with the opening levers in accordance with the control of the latter.

Apparatus for locking and unlocking a folding-top compartment lid

A folding top compartment lid, in particular a folding top compartment lid with an integrated engine bay lid, is pivoted into an open position and into a closed position by a so-called four-bar hinge arrangement. An actuating device is articulatedly connected to a rear and a front setting-out lever of the four-bar hinge mechanism, which actuating device is coupled to a locking device which contains locking hooks. The actuating device with the setting-out levers can be activated by a hydraulic cylinder so as to pivot into the open and closed positions in such a way that the folding top compartment lid can be moved from the locked closed position into an unlocked open position and back from the open position into the closed position.

In order to reinforce a rear part of a convertible vehicle, reinforcement elements are provided on both sides on a rollover protection device. The reinforcement elements are composed, at the rear side of the device when viewed in the direction of travel, of at least two diagonal struts which extend toward one another. Further reinforcement elements are composed, at the front side of the device when viewed in the direction of travel, of at least two lateral stays which are arranged diverging from one another. The diagonal struts and the stays are secured supported on the vehicle body.

A motor vehicle, in particular cabriolet, has a rollover protection device disposed behind the seats. The rollover protection device has a supporting frame, which extends in a vehicle transverse direction and which is fastened to the adjoining vehicle supporting structure, and at least one rollover protection cassette which contains a deployable rollover body. The supporting frame contains lateral upright column sections, a transversely running connecting profile and support elements which are connected to the column sections. Here, it is important that the at least one rollover protection cassette or a housing thereof is a constituent supporting part of the multi-part supporting frame which extends in the vehicle transverse direction.
