The invention relates to a lens which has an extended range of focus, wherein the lens consists of a solid material, the optical surfaces of the lens are transparent and the lens has a focal power distribution. According to the invention, the focal power distribution Fof the lens (), in relation to a plane perpendicular to the optical axis (), changes as a function of the radial height r and of the azimuth angle phi of the aperture between a base value of the focal power Fnot equal to zero and a maximum value F. Hence, the focal power distribution emerges as(,phi)=(,phi),with the spiral focal power component(,phi)=()*(phi),where F(r) depends nonlinearly on the radius and w(phi) is a factor for the focal power component with a spiral profile.

Lens with an extended range of focus

Laser scanning microscope or spectral detector having a detection beam path and first imaging optics which image spectrally dispersed sample light in a Fourier plane such that the individual spectral components of the sample light are spatially separated from one another therein. A micromirror arrangement is provided in this plane, and a spectrally selective change in direction of the detection beam is carried out by controlling the micromirrors, where a useful light component of the detection beam arrives on a detector. A display device includes a holding device that can be placed on the head of a user. An image-generating module and an imaging lens system can be secured on the holding device. The latter includes a spectacle lens with a curved front and a curved back. It projects the image generated when the holding device is placed on the head such that the user can perceive it superimposed on the surroundings. Light from the image-generating module is coupled into an optical channel in the spectacle lens. It is conducted in the optical channel to an exit section and coupled via the exit section out of the spectacle lens. The optical channel includes in the region of the front and back a Fresnel structure with a plurality of facets on which the light conducted in the optical channel is reflected, and which are aligned parallel to one another.

Display device having a holding device that can be placed on the head of a user

A microscope objective including an front optical element, a plurality of optical elements spaced apart from the front element and from each other, as well as an adjusting unit. At least one of the optical elements can be displaced along the optical axis by the adjusting unit to adjust the focus of the objective. The focus of the objective is displaced relative to the front element along the optical axis and/or a temperature-induced imaging error of the objective is compensated for.

Microscope objective

A sighting device couples a sight mark into a viewing beam path and is especially for a handheld weapon (), a bow or a pump gun. The sighting device includes an optical component () having a first optical coupling element () for coupling the sight mark from a sight mark source into the component () and having a second optical coupling element in the region of the viewing beam path for coupling the sight mark () out of the component () and into the viewing beam path. The second optical coupling element is configured as a diffractive structure (). The optical component () is configured to be totally reflective for guiding the sight mark beam in the interior of the optical component and is at least partially transmissive for the viewing beam paths in the region of the viewing beam path. In this way, a compact and lightweight illuminated sight is provided.

A microscope objective system including an objective, which includes an illumination beam path via which illumination radiation from a source is directed onto an object to be examined, as well as a partial detection beam path surrounding at least part of the illumination beam path and, together with the illumination beam path, forms a detection beam path via which radiation to be detected and coming from the sample is guided towards a detector.
