Thread splicing device, including a stationary base body having a first compressed-air canal formed therein, a splicing head being interchangeably connected to the base body, the splicing head having a second compressed-air canal formed therein being in communication with the first compressed-air canal formed in the base body, the splicing head having a plurality of air discharge nozzles formed therein being in communication with the second compressed-air canal formed in the splicing head, and the splicing head having a splicing chamber formed therein being in communication with the air discharge nozzles formed in the splicing head, the splicing chamber including a selectively coverable longitudinal slot for inserting and joining threads.

Thread splicing device

Thread splicing device, including a stationary base body having a first compressed-air canal formed therein, a splicing head being interchangeably connected to the base body, the splicing head having a second compressed-air canal formed therein being in communication with the first compressed-air canal formed in the base body and the splicing head having a splicing chamber formed therein being in communication with the second compressed-air canal formed in the splicing head, the splicing chamber including a selectively coverable longitudinal slot having a slot bottom and being operable for inserting and joining threads, the slot having a substantially circular cross section, at least in the vicinity of the bottom thereof, forming a partly full circle leaving an open aperture for inserting and removing the threads.

Coil changing device for inserting new coil sleeves into a bobbin frame of a cross-wound bobbin winding device, including a friction wheel drive having at least one friction wheel for frictionally driving the coil sleeve and a support for the at least one friction wheel, the at least one friction wheel having a longitudinal axis and being slideable on the support in direction of the longitudinal axis.

Coil changing device

Device for making a thread reserve on coil tubes for textile spools, having a coil frame for exchangeably holding the coil tubes while being rotated at an operating speed in a given direction, a take-up coil, and a winding cylinder, comprising friction wheel means driveable by the winding cylinder against the surface of a coil tube for rotating the coil tube for a short time at initial winding of the take-up coil at a speed lower than the operating speed, and means for driving the winding cylinder at a speed lower than the operating speed in a direction opposite the given direction while the thread reserve is being made.
