Rendering multi-dimensional data in a polyhedron, such as a cube, in a 3D environment allows for the ease of visualization of, and interaction with, the underlying data. The approaches herein allow for 3D manipulation of records within the underlying data by filtering the records across elements of a particular dimension. These records may be filtered by physically grabbing a 'drawer'&#x2014;a slice of data within the polyhedron&#x2014;and removing the drawer to a separate space. That drawer then represents all of the underlying records filtered by that slice, and can be further manipulated by additional filtering, or by merging multiple drawers together.

Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments for generating and adjusting multi-dimensional data visualizations. An embodiment operates by a computer implemented method that includes evaluating, by at least one processor, data to be displayed on a multi-dimensional data visualization and information associated with the multi-dimensional data visualization. The method further includes determining one or more parameters for the multi-dimensional data visualization based on the evaluated data and the evaluated information. The method further includes generating the multi-dimensional data visualization based on the determined one or more parameters, where the multi-dimensional data visualization comprises at least four dimensions. The method also includes graphically displaying the multi-dimensional data visualization.

Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments for an interactive software development kit documentation tool. An embodiment operates by receiving a component selection of an interface component in a development tool associated with a development environment. A display of the interface component and one or more configurable parameters of the interface component is generated, from which a modification to the one or more configurable parameters is received. A modified display of the interface component including a visual indication of the received modification of the one or more configurable parameter is generated in real-time. Code corresponding the modified display of the interface component is generated for use in the development environment.

This disclosure provides examples of computerized methods and software for performing analytical procedures by interacting with visual representations of datasets. In one aspect, a visualization of a first dataset is displayed in a first portion of a GUI, where that visualization is associated with a set of criteria applied to the first dataset. A visualization of a second dataset is displayed in a second portion of the GUI. A selection of at least a portion of the data from the visualization of the first dataset is received, the selection associated with at least one set of set of criteria from the first dataset. A request to apply the selection to the second dataset is received, and, based thereon, the set of criteria from the first dataset is applied to the second dataset to generate a third dataset. A visual representation of the third dataset is then displayed in the GUI.

Methods and systems for performing analytical procedures by interactions with visual representations of datasets

This disclosure provides examples of computerized methods and software for receiving time-based interval selections on multi-touch devices. In one aspect, a time interval slider is displayed in a portion of a graphical user interface, where the time interval slider is a listing of time values in a single dimension at a first granularity level. A request is received via a multi-touch gesture to change from the first granularity level of time values to a second granularity level of time values in the time interval slider. In response, an updated set of time values at a second granularity level is displayed within the time interval slider. A selection of a first time value is received for a first endpoint in a time interval via a first touch input, and a selection of a second time value is received for a second endpoint in the time interval via a second touch input.

Systems, methods, computer program code, and means are provided for the rules-based presentation of log messages on a graphical timeline. Pursuant to some embodiments, a request to view log file information is received, and a plurality of log file messages are retrieved based on the request. The plurality of log file messages are aggregated based on timestamp information contained in each of the log file messages and the aggregated log file messages are displayed along a graphical timeline.

A first subset of attributes of documents responsive to at least one restriction may be displayed. Thereafter, a selection of a graphical user interface element associated with one of the attribute in the first subset may be received resulting in a display of a window comprising an alphanumeric input element. A breadcrumb may be displayed which identifies at least two restrictions of a plurality of documents in a sequence. The breadcrumb may include a graphical user interface element associated with a selected one of the restrictions having at least one subsequent restriction in the sequence. Once this graphical user interface element is selected, at least one attribute and a numeric indication of a number of the documents responsive to each restriction prior to the selected restriction that contain the attribute and each restriction in the sequence subsequent to the selected restriction may be displayed.
