A headlight for a motor vehicle includes a clear, front cover plate (), at least one light source (), and at least one reflector () associated with the light source (). A beam shield () for avoidance of glare produced by headlights of oncoming vehicles is provided, with the beam shield () being disposed between the light source () and the cover plate (). The beam shield () has a structured surface () with an arbitrary or selected geometric pattern on an inner side facing said light source ().

Headlight for a motor vehicle

The headlight, especially for a motor vehicle, includes at least two separately adjustable reflectors and a reflector height adjusting mechanism for adjusting the reflector heights separately or synchronously. The reflectors include a first reflector for high beam light and/or fog light and a second reflector associated with a low beam light module. The reflector height adjusting device includes separate adjusting devices for individually adjusting the respective heights for the at least two separately adjustable reflectors and a coupling member for the separate adjusting devices. When the separate adjusting devices are put in a coupled state by the coupling member the heights of the at least two reflectors are synchronously adjusted by operation of only one of the separate adjusting devices. The method for adjusting light radiated from the headlight includes performing a pre-adjustment in which each of the reflectors is separately adjusted by the separate adjusting devices. The coupling member couples the separate adjusting devices and the reflectors are then synchronously adjusted by operation of only one adjusting device.

Headlight, especially for a motor vehicle, and method for adjusting light radiated by the headlight

A headlight for vehicles has a reflector having at least two regions formed for different illumination functions, at least one light source associated with each of the regions of the reflector and having two light source elements, a lamp carrier fixed to the reflector, one of the light source elements being inserted in the reflector via the lamp carrier and held in the lamp carrier, the lamp carrier having a first portion fixed to the reflector and a second portion in which the one light source element is held, the second portion of the lamp carrier with the one light source element held in it being movable transverse to an optical axis of the reflector relative to the first portion of the lamp carrier for adjusting of the one light source element when the second portion is fixed to the reflector, the second portion of the lamp carrier being accessible from a backside of the reflector for moving the second portion relative to the first portion of the lamp carrier.

Headlight for vehicles

A headlight for a vehicle has a housing, a gas discharge lamp arranged in the housing and having an opening, a closing part arranged to close the opening of the housing, a voltage source with which the gas discharge lamp is connectable, a plug connection provided for connecting the gas discharge lamp with the voltage source and including a stationary plug part arranged on the housing and a releasable plug part arranged outside of the housing. The closing part is releasable from outside of the housing for releasing the opening and has an extremity which in a position in which the closing part closes the opening, extends in the plug connection. The releasable plug part is elastically deformable at least in a region and, in an initial condition before its mounting, has a shape in which it is not electrically conductively connectable with the stationary plug part. The releasable plug part during its mounting is brought by the extremity of the closing part by elastic deformation to a mounting form in which it is electrically conductively connectable with the stationary plug part, and the extremity of the closing part when the releasable plug part is mounted is blocked between the releasable plug part and the stationary plug part.

Headlight for a vehicle

A headlight for motor vehicles has a reflector, a lamp support, a gas discharge lamp arranged in the reflector on the lamp support and including a region extending in the reflector and a glass cylinder which at least partially absorbs light in UV-wavelength range and surrounds the region of the gas discharge lamp, and a light stop which at least partially screens a light emitted by the gas discharge lamp. The light stop is at least indirectly mounted on the reflector, the glass cylinder is held on the light stop at least in its end region facing a light direction, the glass cylinder adjoins the lamp support, and the lamp support and the gas cylinder are arranged so that an opening leading to an interior of the glass cylinder remains between the lamp support and the glass cylinder.

Headlight for motor vehicles

A headlight for a vehicle has a housing having a light outlet opening, a transparent light disc covering the light outlet opening, at least one reflector arranged in the housing and provided with a reflecting inner surface so that the reflector being turnable relative to the housing at least in a vertical plane, and a water level for controlling an inclined position of the reflector and visible through a part of the light disc from outside of the headlight. The water level is arranged in the region of the reflecting inner surface of the reflector and visible through a region of the light disc which extends over the light outlet opening of the housing transverse to the direction of light exiting the headlight.

A headlight for a power vehicle has a holder and a plurality of bearing points mounting the holder on a chassis part of a power vehicle. At least one of the bearing points has a holding element which is fixable on the holder or on the chassis part and a mounting element extending through the holding element and mounting the holder on the chassis part. The holder comes to abutment against the chassis part through the holding element. The holding element is fixable in different longitudinal positions for compensating tolerances of the chassis and/or the holder. The mounting element abuts against the holding element and extends through the latter with a great radial play.

Headlight for motor vehicle

A headlight for a power vehicle has a housing connectable with a vehicle body, a holding frame accommodated in the housing adjustably relative to the latter and a reflector which is turnably connectable with the holding frame and turnable outwardly from a position in which it is arrested with the holding frame. The reflector has a rear side and is provided with light sources insertable into the rear side of the reflector. The housing has a rear upper side and is provided at the rear upper side with an opening. The reflector is turnable about a horizontal axis extending in its upper region so that the rear side of the reflector with the light sources is turnable toward the opening from the holding frame.
