A two-voltage battery for a vehicle, having at least one ground terminal, a first vehicle electrical system connection at which a low, first vehicle electrical system voltage is provided, and a second vehicle electrical system connection at which a high, second vehicle electrical system voltage is provided. At least one battery submodule having at least two battery cell blocks and a multiplicity of switching elements is provided for connecting the battery cell blocks in parallel and/or in series as desired. In a first connection arrangement, the same are connected in parallel with one another such that the first vehicle electrical system voltage is provided at the first vehicle electrical system connection. The switching elements in a second connection arrangement connect the battery cell blocks in series with one another such that the second vehicle electrical system voltage is provided at the second vehicle electrical system connection.

Two-voltage battery

A motor vehicle, particularly a passenger car, contains an onboard electrical system having a number of electrical consumers, a generator and an onboard electrical system rechargeable battery. A bidirectional interface is provided for a rechargeable device battery of a mobile device such that the rechargeable device battery can be coupled to the onboard electrical system by the bidirectional interface and, when coupled, can both be charged by the onboard electrical system and be used as an additional energy source in the onboard electrical system.

Motor vehicle

A two-voltage battery for a vehicle, having an earth point, having a plurality of battery cells, wherein groups of battery cells connected in series form battery cell blocks, and wherein at least one first battery cell block is preferably permanently connected to the earth point of the two-voltage battery, having a plurality of cell monitors for the battery cell blocks, wherein the cell monitors are designed to monitor a voltage provided by the individual battery cells in the particular battery cell block and/or a current through the battery cells in the particular battery cell block, and having a plurality of power switching elements for selectively connecting the battery cell blocks in parallel and/or in series.

An operating method for a dual-voltage battery of a vehicle includes a plurality of battery cell blocks and a battery electronic system with a plurality of power switching elements for optionally connecting individual, in any case individual battery cell blocks, in parallel and/or in series, wherein a first battery cell block and at least one additional battery cell block of a group of battery cell blocks are connected in parallel in a first connection arrangement in order to provide a first voltage and in series in a second connection arrangement in order to provide a second voltage, wherein a parallel connection switch and a series connection switch are associated with the first battery cell block of the group of battery cell blocks to produce the parallel and/or series connection.
