In a method for manufacturing a foil-like electrical connector for connecting solar cells to form modules, an insulating carrier film sheet is initially provided in a width which essentially corresponds to the width of the solar cells to be connected. Furthermore, a conductive foil sheet having a width that is matched to the carrier film is provided. In addition, comb structures as subsequent electrical connection fingers are formed. The conductive foil sheet is positioned on the carrier film with the aid of pin-shaped extensions of a transport belt or a transport roller. The carrier film is subsequently joined to the conductive foil sheet, preferably via an adhesive bond. In the next step, an insulating cover film is applied, in particular laminated.

Method for manufacturing a foil-like electrical connector for connecting solar cells

A solar cell includes: a passivating layer sequence having a plurality of island-like recesses from which the passivating layers have been completely removed; a thin first metal layer situated on the passivating layer sequence and situated in the recesses on the substrate surface; a thin dielectric cover layer covering the first metal layer which has a first regular arrangement of narrow line-type openings and a second regular arrangement of essentially wider line-type or extended island-type openings, the first and second opening arrangement being aligned at an angle; and a highly conductive second metal layer able to be soldered at the exposed surface in the openings of the first and second opening arrangement and contacts the first metal layer there.

A method for manufacturing a solar cell from a p-doped or n-doped silicon substrate having a first main surface used as an incident-light side and a second main surface used as a back side includes: depositing a thin layer onto the second main surface; depositing a dielectric, glass-forming paste onto the second main surface and drying it, in order to cover the thin layer; heating and/or sintering the paste on the second main surface at temperatures greater than app. 577&#xb0; C., to produce an aluminum dopant layer in the second main surface; and removing the glass layer formed during the heating and/or sintering, as well as an aluminum-silicon eutectic layer formed during the heating and/or sintering, from the second main surface.

Method for manufacturing a solar cell and a solar cell manufactured according to this method

A method for producing monocrystalline n-silicon solar cells having a rear-side passivated pemitter and rear-side, spatially separate heavily doped n-base regions near the surface, as well as an interdigitated rear-side contact finger structure, which is in conductive connection with the p-emitter regions and the n-base regions. An aluminum thin layer or an aluminum-containing thin layer is first deposited on the rear side of the n-silicon wafer, and the thin layer is subsequently structured so that openings are obtained in the region of the future base contacts. In a further process step, the aluminum is then diffused into the n-silicon wafer in order to form a structured emitter layer.

A method for driving a thrust body with a bidirectional linear solenoid drive having at least in each case one first actuator and one second actuator includes the steps of providing the at least one first actuator with at least one coil and a yoke and applying force alternately to the thrust body by interacting the first actuator with at least one armature ring. The armature ring is rotated with the second actuator to thereby axially shift the thrust body by the rotation of the armature ring. The thrust body is, then, shifted axially and is subsequently fixed in position with the thrust body being shifted in steps in this way until it has reached its respective final position. Also provided is a configuration for carrying out the method.

Method and configuration for driving a thrust body by a bidirectional linear solenoid drive

An electromagnetic release drive, particularly suitable for a residual current circuit breaker, includes a plunger loaded by a spring in a release direction, a permanent magnet configuration, a coil and a yoke. The coil generates in the yoke a magnetic flux opposed to the permanent magnet configuration when the coil is driven or released such that the spring force overcomes the attraction force of the permanent magnet configuration. The permanent magnet configuration and the pole shoe conducting the magnetic flux to the plunger are associated with the yoke and the plunger such that, in a first position, the plunger is located in the active range of the permanent magnet configuration and of the pole shoe and, in a second position, is located at least partly in the active range of the pole shoe. Thus, in a first position, both the magnetic flux of the coil and that of the permanent magnet configuration, the latter at least partly, run through the plunger and, in the second position of the plunger, a closed magnetic circuit is formed by the yoke, the plunger, the pole shoe, and the permanent magnet configuration. The invention achieves two advantages. First, the working point of the permanent magnet configuration is maintained even in the release position, i.e., the second position. Second, the permanent magnet configuration can be magnetized with the coil.
