Embodiments of the present disclosure are directed to a systems, devices and methods for displacing bones of a living mammal. In some embodiments, a device is provided which includes at least two engagement elements positioned at a distance from each other for engagement with two separate bones Each of the engagement elements may be carried by a support part which in turn is supported in a support portion of a distance unit (). A system and a method for making an injectable mixture using at least one first pulverulent component and a second liquid component with a first piston/cylinder arrangement with a cylinder with an axial extension and a piston, wherein the cylinder includes a measured amount of the pulverulent component, a separate reservoir including a corresponding measured amount of the liquid component, and a transfer device for sealed transfer of said amount of the liquid component to the cylinder for subsequent mixing and injection of the completed mixture. The first piston/cylinder arrangement is an injection syringe. A mixing element being manoeuvrable by a user is positioned inside the cylinder. At least one gas transferring channel means leading to the cylinder is arranged at the cylinder. Positioning device for a prosthesis device and system therefore

A measurement arrangement has a rotation axis around a first end of an extended member having a first joint thereat, and a second joint at the opposing end. An equipment for recording measured points is connected to the second joint. The joints are connected through a cord or wire. The equipment is arranged to rotate through a pre-determined angle when the member is turned around its rotation axis. An angle sensor records the rotation of the equipment relative to the member. The cord or wire rotates the equipment through an angle corresponding to the angle that the member has rotated around its rotation axis. The equipment and the member rotate in opposite directions, and the angles of rotation are recorded when the equipment detects the limiting surface of the object on both sides of the diameter to be measured. A processor calculates the diameter based on the angles of rotation.

Measuring device for measuring a distance

A caliper for measuring tree diameters of trees. A slide having a permanent magnet is movable along a graduated rule, the caliper including a pair of legs, one leg attached to one end of the rule, and another leg attached to the slide. An electronic unit measures the position of the slide along the rule and stores measurement values and other desired data. A wire extends within a longitudinal internal cavity in the rule and co-acts with a piezo crystal adjacent an end of the caliper. The wire is connected to a pulse generator that generates short electric pulses of predetermined duration. The caliper also includes a detector that co-acts with the piezo crystal and with the pulse generator pulses to detect a geometric change in the wire that is sensed by the piezo crystal, which emits an electrical pulse in response to that geometric change.

A communication link for transferring information from a data terminal with connected light pen (3), which includes a light diode (4) and a phototransistor (5) or corresponding means, to a greater computer unit. According to the invention, the communication link (1) includes an information transferring device, which according to a first embodiment comprises a phototransistor (11). The light pen (3) is arranged so as by means of its light diode (4) to emit light corresponding to information stored in the data terminal (10), which information is converted via the phototransistor (11) to electric signals and transferred to the greater computer unit. According to a second embodiment, the information transferring device also includes a light diode (16), which is arranged so as to emit light pulses corresponding to instructions to the data terminal (10) arriving from a greater computer unit. The phototransistor (5) of the light pen (3) is arranged so as to convert said last mentioned pulses to electric signals and to transfer the same to the data terminal (10).
