A system for automated oven configuration. The system includes a meal card comprising a radio-frequency identification, RFID, tag that is configured to identify a type of meal, cooking/heating time and a temperature setting. The system further includes an oven comprising an RFID reader that is configured to read the RFID tag to determine the type of meal, cooking/heating time and the temperature setting. The system also includes a central programming unit configured to automatically set the temperature and cooking/heating time in the oven based on the information received by the RFID tag and RFID reader.

Automated oven configuration

An aircraft insert can include a body and a wireless network module configured to create an insert host network for one or more devices to connect to the wireless network module in a host mode, and to connect to an aircraft network in a client mode. The insert can include a LED mounted on or within the body, the LED readable by a Personal Electronic Device (PED) and having insert host network information to allow the PED to connect to the insert wireless network when the wireless network module is in the host mode. The wireless network module can be configured to receive aircraft network information from the PED in the host mode to connect to the aircraft network when in the client mode.

A system comprises an overhead bin including a door configured to open and close an opening of the overhead bin for access to and securing of an interior space of the overhead bin. A latch mechanism operatively connects the opening of the overhead bin to the door of the overhead bin to secure the door to the opening in a closed position, and to release the door from the opening for access to the interior space. A touchless input sensor can be operatively connected to the latch mechanism and a controller can be operatively connected to the latch mechanism and the touchless input sensor.

A filter component for an aircraft insert can include a non-conductive body having an outer surface and an inner surface. The inner surface can be configured to be hidden from view when installed on the insert. The filter component can include a surface filter disposed on the inner surface such that when the non-conductive body is installed on the insert the surface filter is not visible. The surface filter can be configured to filter out one or more predetermined filter frequencies.

Water injection system for ovens and method of injection
