A personal electronic delivery system includes a housing having a first end with an inlet and a second end with an outlet a fluid path substantially extending between the inlet and the outlet, a buffer for holding a delivery fluid, connecting means configured to transfer delivery fluid to the fluid path, a heater that is provided in, at or close to the fluid path configured for heating the delivery fluid such that at least a part of the delivery fluid atomizes and/or vaporizes in the fluid path, and an energy source configured for providing energy to the heater. The buffer substantially surrounds the heater and includes openings in a groove for transferring delivery fluid to the heater.

The invention relates to a method for producing a membrane and such membrane. The method comprises the steps of: &#x2014;providing a container with electrolyte; &#x2014;placing a structure in the container; and &#x2014;providing at least two electrodes with a potential difference to achieve a plasma electrolytic oxidation on the structure. Preferably, the structure comprises a metallic structure, with the metallic structure chosen from the group of Titanium, Aluminum, Magnesium, Zirconium, Zinc and Niobium, and/or an alloy.

An ECM method involves the use of a thin hollow electrode assembly that carries the electrolyte within and that is advanced relatively to the workpiece. The small profile of the electrode results in a minimal removal of metal in forming the desired rotor or stator shape. The electrode profile allows significant power consumption reduction or increased machining speed for a given rate of power input. The electrode can be a unitary ring shape or can be made of segments that are placed adjacent each other so that a continuous shape is cut. Not all the lobes of the stator or rotor have to be cut in the same pass. Electrode segments can be used to sequentially provide the desired lobe count in separate passes. The lobe shapes in the electrode can be slanted to get the desired rotor or stator pitch or they can be aligned with the workpiece axis.
