A vehicle door arrangement includes a trim panel, a structural element and a second trim panel. A connection between the first trim panel and the second trim panel comprises a sealing element. The first trim panel comprises an attachment element which extends along the sealing element and interacts with the sealing element.

Vehicle door arrangement and method for the assembly thereof

The invention relates to a cable feed device for a flat cable, or a flat cable connection, respectively, on a vehicle door, wherein the flat cable is provided being extended between the vehicle door that can be moved relative toward a vehicle chassis and the vehicle chassis, or along a component, respectively, which is substantially firmly attached to the vehicle chassis, wherein at least one seal is disposed between the vehicle door and the vehicle chassis, or the component, respectively, and further wherein the flat cable is disposed in a feed through of the seal between the seal and the vehicle door in a closed state of the vehicle door.

A door assembly for a vehicle includes a door frame and a door lock. A force transmitting mechanism has one end connected to the door lock and another end is premounted on a door module housing. The door module housing is mounted to the door frame and a trim panel secured to the door frame. A method includes the steps of premounting the door module to the door frame, securing the door panel to the door frame and connecting an door opening mechanism to the force transmitting mechanism.

A door having an adjustable armrest has a curved inner trim in the region in which the adjustable armrest is arranged. The adjustable armrest follows the curvature of the door trim with its movement so that the gap between the inner trim and the door is always substantially constant to reduce related drawbacks. The adjustable armrest includes manual and automatic adjustment mechanisms and provision for a folding storage box.

The invention relates to a door module () for a vehicle door, which is divided in a sealed manner into an outer wet chamber () that faces the door shell () and an inner dry chamber (). Said door module is equipped with pre-assembled mechanical and/or electrical functional components that are fixed in the dry chamber and can be mechanically and/or electrically connected to door components that are located in the wet chamber. The seal between the dry chamber and the wet chamber is formed by a separation sheet (), which is penetrated by sealed connecting elements of the functional components that are held on the dry side of said separation sheet in the door module. According to the invention, the decorative inner covering () of the door module () and/or a reinforcement element () that is mounted on said covering in the door module comprise contact pressure zones, which preferably extend over the whole periphery and onto which the separation sheet can be pressed in a sealing manner, by contact with the door shell.

Door module for vehicle door

A beverage container for a motor vehicle is provided for. The beverage container holder is located in a vehicle glove compartment. The beverage container holder is pivotally attached to the glove compartment cover and a side wall of the glove compartment so that the bottom of the beverage container holder remains horizontal when the cover is in a closed position. The beverage container holder also has a system for allowing cool air from the vehicle's ventilation system into the glove compartment through an air duct for the purpose of cooling items placed in the beverage container holder. An aperture located in a side wall of the glove compartment cover allows cooling air to be circulated when the glove compartment cover is in a closed position. When the glove compartment cover is open, the side wall of the glove compartment cover prevents cooling air from being circulated within the glove compartment.

Container in a motor vehicle for storing drinks and/or food

In accordance with the teachings of the present invention, an installation device for a vehicle is disclosed which in particular is for the releasable mounting of a handheld mobile phone. The installation device is designed with a housing (2) which is opened toward the front and is to be arranged on a receiving shaft of a vehicle part (1), such as an instrument panel, console, or the like, with a carrying part (16) which can be pivoted into, and out of, the housing (2) via a substantially vertically aligned axis of rotation (5), with a bearing plate (7) which is arranged on the carrying part (16) and is intended for the mobile phone (12) when the carrying part (16) has been pivoted out of the housing (2), and with a substantially horizontally aligned pivot axis (11) between the carrying part (16) and a bearing plate (7).

A built-in, movable, object support for installation in a console, or the like, including a housing having two opposite first side walls and an opening defined by and between the first side walls. An insert is installed through the opening in the housing. The insert has second opposite sides opposed to respective ones of the first side walls. The insert has a front closure wall which serves as a support for an object when the insert is out of the housing. Object holding and support elements are at and above the closure wall. Converging guide ribs on the housing first side walls and slide pieces on the insert second sides engage the ribs. The orientation of the ribs are such that the insert turns with reference to the housing as it moves in and out of the housing due to the guidance of the ribs. The closure wall of the insert is substantially horizontal for supporting an object with the insert out of the housing. Additional object holding elements are supported at the closure wall of the insert.

Built-in, movable, object support device

A transverse beam for roof loads on a motor vehicle which is equipped with roof rails. A holding element on each end region of the transverse beam comprises two clamping jaws which can be drawn toward each other by a tightening member. The jaws are clamped to the spars of the roof rails in order to prevent shifting of the transverse beam along the spars upon strong acceleration or deceleration. A recess in at least one clamping jaw. At least one friction brake arranged in the recess, which is supported against the spar. The brake comprises a molded body, e.g. of hard rubber or of wear resistant tough plastic material. The bottom surface of the recess is obliquely inclined to cause the brake body to securely engage the spar as the beam and the vehicle accelerates in the direction of reduced height of the recess.
