The invention relates to a monitoring arrangement () for monitoring the clamping quality of a workpiece carrier clamped in a clamping device () as well as a clamping system with clamping device () and such a monitoring arrangement (). The monitoring arrangement comprises at least two sensors (A-A) for the independent detection of the clamping quality of a clamped workpiece carrier or workpiece. The monitoring arrangement also comprises a transmitting device () and a receiving device (), wherein the transmitting device () is constituted such that it transmits the determined or calculated parameter or parameters redundantly to the receiving device ().

Monitoring arrangement, clamping system with a monitoring arrangement and method for monitoring a clamping device by means of a monitoring arrangement

An arrangement for processing workpieces includes at least one processing machine, a machine magazine assigned to a respective processing machine for accommodating processing tools, and a robot arranged on a driverless base frame. Processing tools may be supplied to and/or removed again from the machine magazine using the driverless base frame. The driverless base frame is additionally provided with a temporary magazine for accommodating processing tools.

Arrangement for processing workpieces

A clamping chuck is provided for clamping palettes having a clamping spigot. The clamping chuck includes a receiving opening for the clamping spigot and a clamping device that includes an actuating piston displaceable between an initial position and a locking position for actuating clamping members for clamping the clamping spigot in the receiving opening. The clamping chuck includes a monitoring line that is acted upon pneumatically and leads from an inlet to an outlet. the receiving opening includes a conical insertion region, into which at least one control hole connected to the monitoring line emerges, the control hole being closed by the clamping spigot. A valve device is arranged between the inlet and the outlet of the monitoring line to vary the flow of a fluid through the monitoring line depending on the position of the actuating piston.

Clamping chuck

A clamping device includes a clamping chuck and a clamping element, which can be clamped thereto. The clamping chuck has a receiving opening for the clamping element and clamping members for clamping the clamping element in the receiving opening. The clamping element is elongated, while the clamping chuck is provided with an elongated receiving opening for the clamping element. A resiliently flexible centering element, which aligns the clamping element in response to the insertion into the receiving opening at right angles to the longitudinal axis of the receiving opening, is arranged on the clamping chuck in the insertion area of the receiving opening. Such a clamping device is suitable in clamping systems by means of which large to very large workpiece carriers can be clamped in the work area of a machine tool in a repeatably accurate manner.

Clamping device

The invention relates to a clamping chuck for clamping pallets furnished with a clamping spigot. The clamping chuck has a locating opening for the clamping spigot and a clamping device for clamping the clamping spigot in the locating opening. A plurality of sensors are arranged on the clamping chuck, by means of which the clamping force actions on the clamping spigot may be determined as well as other values. The clamping chuck is equipped with a transmitter for wireless transmission of parameters detected by means of the one or more sensors.

The coupling device () comprises a clamping fixture () fixable to a manipulator and an adapter () securely clampable thereto. Both the clamping fixture () and the adapter () are configured substantially rectangular. The clamping fixture () comprises a locking mechanism () consisting of two laterally shiftable locking elements () and an actuating member () disposed inbetween. For fixedly securing the adapter () to the clamping fixture () the locking elements () are urged by means of the actuating member into the side widenings () of the locking opening (). In addition, the clamping fixture () is provided with a slotted recess () and the adapter () with an elongated base (), the latter being insertable into the slotted recess ().

Coupling device for a manipulator

The measuring machine () for measuring workpieces () features a machine table () and a mechanical device comprising a measuring slide movable in a first linear axis and a cross slide movable in a second linear axis, and a quill shaft () arranged on the cross slide and movable in a third linear axis. Arranged on the quill shaft () is, in addition to a sensor () for measuring the workpiece, also a gripper () by means of which a workpiece () can be retrieved from a magazine () and transferred to the clamping device (), or retrieved from the clamping device () and transferred to the magazine (). Due to this configuration the existing mechanical device of the measuring machine () can be made use of to mechanically transfer and also retrieve a workpiece () being measured.

Measuring machine for measuring workpieces

The assembly comprises a coupling for direct or indirect coupling the core rod () to the lower punch () of a powder press. The coupling is configured as a magnetic coupling and comprising two coupling elements (), the first () of which is actively connected to the core rod () and the second () of which is actively connected to the lower punch (). The magnetic coupling comprises several permanent magnets () arranged at each coupling element. These permanent magnets () are arranged and adapted to each other such that when coupling the two coupling elements () the first coupling element () is automatically rotated by the effect of the field lines of the magnets () into a predetermined angular position relative to the second coupling element ().

Powder press assembly

The invention relates to a clamping fixture comprising a chuck () and for locking thereto a workpiece pallet (). The chuck () comprises first centering members in the form of centering spigots () whilst said workpiece pallet () is provided with a main body () and secured thereto a centering disk (). The centering disk () is provided with second centering members in the form of centering openings (). The centering spigots () of the workpiece pallet () are adapted to the centering openings () of the workpiece pallet () that the latter is alignable in the X-direction and Y-direction on clamping to the chuck (). Provided topping the chuck () is a sealing member assembly (). Disposed between the centering disk () and the main body () of the workpiece pallet () is a sealing disk () which overhangs the centering disk () radially. The portion of the sealing disk () overhanging the centering disk () radially is configured such that said portion sealingly comes into contact with a sealing member of the sealing member assembly () when clamping the workpiece pallet ().

Clamping fixture

A clamping fixture comprises a clamping base member () and a workpiece pallet () for fixedly clamping thereto. The clamping base member () features a number of clamping spigots () corresponding in number to that of the clamping devices () for fixedly clamping in place in each clamping device (). Arranged on the clamping base member () are first centering members () which cooperate with the further centering members () arranged on the workpiece pallet () such that the workpiece pallet () is aligned in place when fixedly clamping to the clamping base member in the X-direction and Y-direction. Each clamping device () features a clamping socket (), the top side of which forms the Z-mount for the workpiece pallet (). The Z-mount of the clamping base member () is formed by a plurality of face portions () topping each clamping socket (), and wherein each face portion () is provided with at least one outflow port () for a cleaning medium. Each clamping socket () is provided with a hollow protuberance () extending down to the underside of the clamping base member ().

Proposed is a monitoring device for monitoring and/or sensing predefined positions of a robotic device () having at least two axes of motion. The monitoring device comprises at least two sensors (), the first () of which is defined to sense a horizontal position and/or rotative position of the main support () and the second sensor () a defined horizontal position of the robotic arm (). The monitoring device comprises furthermore sensor active faces () arranged selectively for the first sensor () arranged in the horizontal motion zone and/or swiveling zone of the robotic device ().

Monitoring device for position monitoring a robotic device and production system including a monitoring device

The clamping apparatus comprising a chuck member and a pallet member releasably fixed to the chuck member. The chuck member comprises clamping means for clamping the pallet member to the chuck member. The chuck member has first centering means and the pallet member has second centering means cooperating with the first centering means to define the relative position between the chuck member and the pallet. The chuck member and/or the pallet member are/is provided with at least one damping element consisting at least partially of a compressed composite of metal chips.
