The present invention relates to a safety puncturing system comprising a cannula and a guidewire.

Safety puncturing system

A safety needle is disclosed having a puncture needle with a needle lumen and a ground tip; a holding device that, during use, bears on the skin of a patient and holds the puncture needle; and a safety mechanism with a protection element that has a first, opened state and a second, closed state. When the holding device is taken away from the skin and/or when the holding device is moved with respect to the defined position, the safety mechanism automatically moves the protection element from a first position, in which the tip of the needle is exposed, to a second position, in which the tip of the needle is covered as the protection element at the same time transfers automatically from the first, opened state to the second, closed state.

Dialysis needle

A syringe for the injection of an active substance and for the secondary injection of a medium, the syringe having a cylindrical syringe body with a limiting wall provided in the distal region, which transitions into a neck, two mechanically connected plungers that are axially displaceable in the syringe body, and a first actuating element for mutual displacement of the plungers, wherein, prior to the injection of the active substance, the distal plunger and the limiting wall delimit a first volume that is filled with the active substance, and mutually facing inner surfaces of the plungers delimit a second volume that is filled with the medium, wherein the plungers are displaced as a mechanically coupled unit by the application of force of the first actuating element in the direction of the limiting wall until the distal plunger comes to rest against the limiting wall or a stop.

Syringe for sequential injection of substances

The invention relates to a transfer device for tapping or delivering a fluid from a bottle sealed with a closure, the device having a hollow cylinder-shaped first part having a circumferential wall, which first part can be placed on the bottle and surrounds the closure, a hollow cylinder-shaped second part which can be adjusted with respect to the first part, the second part having a first wall running transverse to the longitudinal axis direction, and a puncturing needle originating from the first wall and extending in the direction of the first part permitting piercing of the closure, wherein the first part cannot be adjusted axially with respect to the second part if the closure is not surrounded and, if the first part surrounds the closure, the first part can be adjusted with respect to the second part for piercing the closure.

Transfer device for tapping or delivering a fluid

The present invention relates to a cannula for puncturing body cavities, comprising an inner and an outer longitudinally cut sleeve with proximal and distal ends. The inner sleeve is arranged within the outer sleeve so as to be longitudinally displaceable and rotatable within the outer sleeve such that the longitudinal cut of the inner sleeve is covered by the outer sleeve in a first rotational position and the longitudinal cuts of the inner and outer sleeves are placed on top of each other in a second rotational position. The distal end of the inner sleeve is provided with a puncture tip that is completely retracted into the outer sleeve if the inner sleeve is in the second rotational position, wherein the inner and outer sleeves and/or the two handle portions are, preferably unreleasably, locked to one another.

Venous access port

A port for a catheter includes a housing, a chamber arranged in the housing for receiving a medically active substance, a connecting piece for connecting the catheter to produce a flow connection between the chamber and the catheter, and at least one lever, mounted to be pivotable about a pivot axis and realized to allow the catheter to be fitted onto the connecting piece in a first pivot position and to hold the catheter in a clamping manner on the connecting piece in a second pivot position. The at least one lever has different first and second portions. The first portion carries a latching device for latching the at least one lever with the housing and/or with a first portion of a further lever in the second pivot position. The second portion has a clamping device for holding the catheter in the clamping manner in the second pivot position.

Port for a catheter

A cannula device having a base body made of plastic, on which a cannula is held, and having a guard element that can be moved relative to the base body into a second position, in which the cannula tip is exposed for the use of the cannula device, from a first position, in which, in the delivered state of the cannula device, the cannula tip is covered to protect the user from injury. The guard element is movable, after use of the cannula device, back into a third position in which the cannula tip is covered to protect a user from injury, and the guard element is irreversibly locked to the base body by a third fixing device including a first latching protrusion protruding from the base body and at least one first latching receptacle, associated with the first latching protrusion in at least one side wall of the guard element.

Cannula device having pivotable needle guard

Device for connecting a tubular part having a first end provided with a tip, and a second end provided with a connecting device. The connecting device connects an inside of the tubular part with a syringe and with the inside of a bottle, which bottle includes a neck having a stopper penetrable by the tip of the tubular part. Device includes a supporting device for sealing and fitting the device into place on the neck of the bottle in a tight and substantially centered manner. A holding device holds the tubular part in a displaceable manner relative to the supporting device in a penetration direction of the tip of the tubular part. Holding device includes a tight, deformable membrane with two edges, one edge of which is connected tightly to the tubular part and another edge of which is connected tightly to the supporting device.

Device for connecting a tubular part to the inside of a bottle

The invention relates an implantable access device for a catheter for supplying an active substance to an active site. The inventive access device comprises a chamber which is arranged in a housing for receiving the active substance and is closed with a piercable membrane. A connecting piece, to which the catheter is connectable, is fluidly connected to the chamber. The catheter is fixed by clamps that are fixable to the housing preferably by means of elastic fixing arms. The chamber receiving the active substance is embodied in an insertion element that is arranged in a recess of the housing by an intermediate clamping of the intermediate layer of the membrane in such a way that the insertion element produces a pressure force to said membrane.

Medical transfer device conducts fluid from a container to a bottle having a neck, which has a closing element pierceable by a needle. Transfer device includes a first tubular-shaped part telescopically displaceable in a second tubular-shaped part between an inserted position and an extracted position. A holding part is provided inside first tubular-shaped part. A cannula extends from holding part into second tubular-shaped part without axially overlapping into the extracted position. Cannula includes a lateral opening on its distal end. Conical-shaped receiving element connects a detachably sealed connection of conical-shaped receiving elements with the container, and is connected to the inside of the cannula in the holding part. The tubular-shaped parts are detachably locked by locking tongues, so that the tip of the cannula is located inside the tubular-shaped part, avoiding injury risk. Rotation of the tubular-shaped parts determines penetration depth of the tip of the cannula in the bottle.

Medical transfer device

Method of producing a cannula used specially for a spinal anesthesia. The cannula is provided with a rigid tube whose distal end comprises a zone or region which gradually tapers in the direction of a puncture or insertion point and a lateral exit orifice or aperture embodied therein. The deformation or bending of an angular zone makes it possible to produce the puncture point and the exit orifice in one stage.

Method for producing a cannula used specially for a spinal anaesthesia

A cannula system () comprising a tubular housing () having a front and a rear end. A slider () is displaceably mounted inside the housing () between a front and a rear limit position. A tear end () of a cannula () is rigidly joined to the slider (), the front end of said cannula being fitted with a front end () having a tip to pierce biological tissue and extending into the front end of the housing () when the slider () is in the rear limit position. Means are provided to move the cannula () back. A catheter () is affixed to the rear end of the housing () in the direction opposite the direction of piercing and extends at least in part through the slider () and into the cannula (), preferably as far as the front end of said cannula, when the slider () is in its front limit position and the cannula () projects from the front end of the housing (). This cannula system offers the advantage that the catheter can be sealed at the tip and also may consist of several ducts without incurring any danger of leaks anywhere.

Cannula system

A pouch to at least partly enclose a heart ( ), the wall of the pouch ( ) being elastic. The purpose of the pouch is to enclose at least part of a heart ( ) and to oppose excessive dilation of the heart ( ) that might be due to infectious disease of the heart muscle, for instance a viral infection or an autoimmune process. In many cases the use of such a pouch ( ) may circumvent the need for a heart transplant.
