A vibration absorber comprising a supporting device, an oscillating mass, at least one coil device, and at least on permanent magnet device. The coil device includes at least one winding. A permanent magnet of the permanent magnet device generates a magnetic field extending through a yoke device of the permanent magnet device and through a part of the windings such that when current flows through the windings in a suitable manner, two forces are generated that act between the supporting device and the permanent magnet device and include an angle unequal to 0&#xb0;.

Vibration absorber and vibration absorber assembly

A hydromount comprising a carrying mount and a support mount connected to each other by an elastomeric suspension spring. The hydromount includes a working chamber and a compensation chamber that are filled with a fluid and separated by a partition, and connected to each other via a damping channel inserted into the partition. The hydromount includes an absorber channel that is switchable via an actuating device. The absorber channel is inactive in a first switching position of the actuating device and active in a second switching position of the actuating device. The actuating device has an electrically drivable electromagnet and an armature suspended via an elastic membrane so as to allow the armature to vibrate. The membrane is surrounded by a limiting member such that the membrane abuts against the limiting member in the first switching position and is spaced from the limiting member in the second switching position.

Hydromount

A seal arrangement for a shaft end. The seal arrangement includes an annular sealing lip that before use is braced on a support sleeve. The seal arrangement also includes a sensor ring that overlaps, radially inward with a flange, the sealing lip and the support sleeve, at the end facing away from the sealed space. The sensor ring is axially displaceable with respect to the sealing lip. The support ring includes at least three segments movable relative to one another and abutting against one another in the circumferential direction. The segments are fastened on the sensor ring nondisplaceably in the axial direction and displaceably outwardly in the radial direction. For easier insertion of the shaft end, the support sleeve has at the end facing the sealed space an inside diameter that is expanded in hollow conical fashion, and/or the shaft end has an outside diameter tapered in conical fashion in the opposite direction.

Radial shaft seal

A speed-adaptive dynamic-vibration absorber for a shaft rotatable about an axis, including a hub part on which at least one inertial mass is provided. The at least one inertial mass, starting from a middle position in which its center of gravity is the greatest distance from the axis, is moveable back and forth relative to the hub part along a path of motion in deflection positions in which the distance of the center of gravity of the at least one inertial mass changes with respect to the middle position, the path of motion having a radius of curvature which changes at least section-by-section with increasing deflection of the inertial mass out of the middle position.

Speed-adaptive dynamic-vibration absorber

A speed-adaptive vibration damper for a shaft that rotates about an axis, having a hub part, on which are located a plurality of peripherally adjacent inertial masses that are movable along curved paths that increasingly approach the axis on either side of the masses. At least one relatively twistable inertial ring is elastically mounted on the hub part. When rotational vibrations set in, a change occurs in the distance of the inertial masses from the axis.

Speed-adaptive vibration damper

A sealing arrangement including a sealing ring with a support ring extending substantially in a radial direction. The support ring is joined in the radial direction to a first sealing element that lies in contact with and is nonrotatable with respect to a first machine element to form a static seal. The support ring is also joined in the radial direction to a second sealing element that is placed against a second machine element rotatably with respect to the second machine element to create a dynamic seal. The first and second sealing elements are each made of an elastomeric material, and the sealing ring has, in order to sense rotational movements of the first machine element about its axis, at least one auxiliary device that can move past a rotational speed sensor. The auxiliary device can be a multipole ring made of a pasty, hardenable, and magnetizable material that is arranged as a intermediate layer of film-like thinness on the side of the support ring facing the rotational speed sensor. The multipole ring has north and south poles alternating in the circumferential direction and extending in the radial direction, and the multipole ring is completely covered by the elastomeric material of the first and/or second sealing elements.

Sealing arrangement

A flywheel, including a first rotating ring that is connectible to a drive shaft and a second rotating ring that is connectible to a driven shaft. The first and the second rotating rings are twistable relative to one another and are supported concentrically one inside the other. Provision is made between the first and the second rotating ring for a torsion spring to suppress torsional vibrations. A speed-adaptive absorber is affixed to the second rotating ring, the speed-adaptive absorber including at least one hub part that is rotatable about an axis of rotation, as well as a plurality of damper masses which are able to swivel at least in the circumferential direction about swivel axes that are set apart from the axis of rotation.

Two-mass flywheel with a speed-adaptive absorber

A clutch of a periodically-activated prime mover or driven machine having an integrated speed-adaptive damper. The damper is mounted directly on a connected flywheel, and a clutch plate and a pressure plate are arranged between the flywheel and the damper. The damper, in the area of its inner circumference, has a support for a clutch-actuation device, and the clutch-actuation device has a force-originating lever part and a spring part independent of the force-originating lever part.

A sealing arrangement which includes a sealing ring with a support ring extending substantially in the radial direction and is joined in the radial direction on one end to a first sealing element that lies in sealing contact with a first machine element nonrotatably with respect thereto and in a statically sealing manner, and is joined in the radial direction on another end to a second sealing element that is placed against a second machine element rotatably with respect thereto and in a dynamically sealing manner. The first and second sealing elements are each made of an elastomeric material, and the sealing ring has, in order to sense rotational movements of the first machine element about its axis, at least one auxiliary device that can move past a rotational speed sensor. The auxiliary device may be a multipole ring, rotatable together with the first machine element about its axis, that is made of a magnetizable material. The multipole ring may have north and south poles alternating in the circumferential direction and extending in the radial direction.

An active vibration canceler, including a canceler mass that is attached by a spring device to a supported bearing. The canceler mass is movable by a plunger coil arrangement and a permanent magnet so as to result in at least partial suppression of relative movements of the supported bearing in at least one frequency range. The spring device joins the canceler mass and the supported bearing for relative movement in one direction. The spring device includes at least three leaf springs arranged in at least two planes, which leaf springs, in the idle position, extend circumferentially in the same direction.

Active vibration canceler

A vibration dampener adapts to different speeds of rotation. The device comprises a drive collar (1) and several inertial masses (2). The collar rotates around a central axis (3) and the inertial masses pivot around peripheral axes along the direction of rotation. Each inertial mass is secured to the collar by two bolts (5). The bolts, which extend parallel the central axis, are distributed around the circumference of the collar, and roll back and forth along arcs (6). The arcs are concave toward the central axis in the vicinity of the collar and concave in the opposite direction in the vicinity of the inertial masses. The bolts extend through a guide (7) toward the sides facing away from the associated arcs.

Speed-adaptive vibration dampener

A method for manufacturing a sealing ring. A support ring is provided, and at least one pasty, magnetizable material is applied onto a side of said support ring. The material is then hardened. First and second elastomeric sealing elements are vulcanized to the support ring, such that the ring is covered by the elastomeric material of said first sealing element. The magnetizable material is then magnetized. The magnetizable material may be a paste with at least two homogeneously distributed magnetic materials. At least two magnetic materials may be applied in succession onto said support ring; in that method, the second magnetic material is not applied until after a step of hardening the first magnetic material. After said step of hardening, the support ring may be deformed and punched out.

Method of making a sealing arrangement

A sealing arrangement including a sealing ring with a support ring extending substantially in a radial direction. A pulse generating wheel, combined with a radial shaft sealing ring, for a machine element that can rotate about an axis. The pulse generating wheel has a cylindrical sleeve that can be slid onto the machine element. The radial shaft sealing ring is provided with a sealing lip, made of polymer material, that is delimited on the side facing the atmosphere by a conical surface. In a first axial position of the cylindrical sleeve, the conical surface is contacted by the cylindrical sleeve and can be expanded in the radial direction. The cylindrical sleeve can be displaced out of the first axial position into a second axial position in which the sealing lip moves into direct contact with the machine element, and the cylindrical sleeve is at an axial distance from the conical surface.

A torsional vibration damper for a shaft rotating about an axis. The damper comprises a hub element joined to the shaft, such that at least two inertial masses, pivotable in the peripheral direction about pivot axes, are retained on the hub element. At least one spring for each inertial mass is provided to determine the static position of the inertial masses. The pivot axes lie between the inertial masses and the axis of the shaft.
