A ball joint () for a vehicle, in particular for an off-road vehicle. The ball joint () has a housing () and a ball stud () which is rotatably and pivotably mounted in the housing () and which, with a shaft (), extends out of an opening of the housing (). The housing opening is protected against unwanted penetration of dirt and/or moisture by f a seal bellows (). The seal bellows () is surrounded in some areas by a bellows protection () in order to prevent damage to the seal bellows () due to mechanical influence.

Ball joint for a vehicle, in particular for an off-road vehicle

A joint device () having an axially extending joint pin () and a housing () that radially surrounds the pin, either wholly or partially. The joint pin () and the housing () can move relative to one another at least by pivoting or rotating, and a gap () between the two components is closed by a sealing device () which is effective in any position of the components () relative to one another. The sealing device is designed in such manner that the sealing device (), radially on the outside thereof, is in contact with and is supported by an inner wall area () of the housing ().

Joint device for a motor vehicle

A clamping assembly for a strut element. The clamping assembly connects one end of the substantially tubular strut to a threaded bolt. A pneumatic spring-vibration damper unit is provided for absorbing shocks on wheels and chassis parts of motor vehicles. A variable air chamber is delimited by a rolling bellows which is disposed between a first subassembly that is fixed to the vehicle body and is provided with a vibration damper system and a second subassembly that is fixed to the vehicle chassis and is movable therewith. A piston rod connects the first subassembly located at the vehicle body end and the second subassembly located at the chassis end and whose free end located at the vehicle body end is accommodated inside a cylinder tube of the vibration damper system so as to be longitudinally movable by means of a piston. The piston rod () is guided within the cylinder tube () of the vibration damper system () so as to be longitudinally movable with the aid of a drag bearing arrangement (). This allows the longitudinal axis of the piston rod to be angularly deflected relative to the central longitudinal axis () of the cylinder tube () while a joining element () which is fastened to the piston rod () and the piston () by a respective ball-and-socket joint unit () is positioned between the piston rod () and the piston ().

Pneumatic spring vibration damper assembly unit

A ball and socket joint for a motor vehicle, especially for the chassis of the motor vehicle, has a ball and socket joint housing (), which has a joint opening and in which a bearing shell () made of an insulating material is arranged. A ball pivot (), which is made of an electrically conductive material, has a joint ball () and a pivot (), and which is mounted with its joint ball () rotatably and pivotably in the bearing shell () and projects from the ball and socket joint housing with its pivot () through the opening of the joint. An electrode () is arranged in the wall of the bearing shell () at a distance (&#x394;) from the joint ball (), and the electrode () and the joint ball () are electrically insulated against each other via the bearing shell (). Furthermore, between the joint ball () and the ball and socket joint housing (), the wall has at least two layers () arranged one after another, between which the electrode () is arranged.

A ball-and-socket joint for a motor vehicle, especially for the chassis of the motor vehicle has a ball-and-socket joint housing (i), which has a joint opening and in which a bearing shell () made of an insulating material is arranged.
