A component assembly that includes a connection between two components, in particular an electronic circuit board and a housing. The connection includes a pin-shaped connector via which the electronic circuit board is held on the housing, and the pin-shaped connector in a passage of the housing being connected to the housing via a housing caulking. The pin-shaped connector, in the area of the housing caulking, includes a recess that cooperates with the housing caulking in such a way that the pin-shaped connecting means is held in the passage.

In a method for testing an image sensor having (i) regular pixels and test pixels, of which each is interconnected with one of two predefined voltage values, and (ii) a signal processing unit for providing digital signal values for output voltages of the pixels and test pixels, the following steps are performed: receiving digital signal values of the test pixels; and using the signal values of at least one proper or improper subset of the test pixels for testing the image sensor, all test pixels of the subset being interconnected with a first of the two voltage values. Using the test pixels for testing allows testing during ongoing operation, i.e., during reception of regular image signals.

Method and device for testing an image sensor and motor vehicle

An image converter includes: a pixel array having multiple imager pixels for outputting imager pixel signals, and a readout and processing device for reading out the pixel array and for receiving and processing the imager pixel signals. The pixel array has multiple reference pixels for outputting reference pixel signals, and at least one reference current device for outputting reference currents to the reference pixels for simulating illumination intensities. The readout and processing is adapted to jointly read out, receive, and process the reference pixel signals and the imager pixel signals.

A method and a device are described for testing a frequency-modulated clock generator, the device including a cycle counting unit for counting clock cycles of a clock signal of the clock generator in multiple consecutive measuring periods, which are defined, in particular, by a measuring signal having a measuring frequency, and for outputting cycle count values, and including a comparator device for receiving and comparing the cycle count values with each other and for outputting at least one output signal as a function of the comparison. In particular, ascertained maximum and minimum values may be compared with each other.

Device and method for testing a frequency-modulated clock generator

In an image sensing device having a housing, having a circuit assemblage disposed on a circuit board, and having an image sensor that is disposed on a circuit board and in front of an opening of the housing, in order to improve the shielding effect, at least one shielding layer is disposed on the circuit board carrying the image sensor.
