A cabinet system, especially for a wall cabinet, with a frame, which has a rear wall, built-in brackets and vertical profiles, and with lining parts, which, following mounting and cabling of electrical appliances and components, are fastened to the frame. The cabinet, which can be installed by one person, is easy to fit, and customer-friendly and permits good accessibility and cabling, also ensures high security against any unauthorized openings. The built-in brackets are directly inserted or locked on the rear wall and then secured thereto.

A contact element is used for anticipatory earthing of a plug-in module during insertion in guides of a casing or a modular chassis up to plugging in. In order to ensure a reliable and effective protective earthing and a very early conducting away of electrostatic charges during the plugging-in process, a contact element is provided with a clamping area and a holding area. The clamping area is constructed for contact engagement on a circuit board and the holding area is constructed for retaining the contact element on a cross extrusion of the casing or the modular chassis.

The invention relates to a constructional system for frames, racks and casings and in particular for sub-racks and equipment cabinets for accommodation of electrical and electronic assemblies, units and printed circuit boards. At least one joint system having engagements is provided for thread-forming screws as fastening elements for particularly cost-effective manufacture of such type of constructional systems, and for simple assembly as well as for ensuring effective EMC screening in accordance with the invention between horizontally and vertically arranged components, in particular between side parts and a top part and a base part having multi-folded horizontal struts and/or vertical struts. Lug joints as second joint zones are preferably provided as an addition to the first joint system having joint zones accessible from the end faces and, third joint zones, for example, for sub-racks or equipment cabinets and which enable, for example, a fixing of printed circuit boards and the like by means of formed, threaded holes.

An arrangement is provided for the spring elastic position fixing of fasteners, e.g. spring nuts, in a recess, e.g. a T-slot. In smooth recesses, a reliable position fixing of a fastener, such as a rail, can be obtained if the fastener is placed in the recess.
