A waste collection bag adapted for use by a person having a colostomy, an ileostomy, or a urostomy. The waste collection bag has a rear wall, a front wall on an opposite side of the waste collection bag from the rear wall, and a waste inlet formed in the rear wall of the waste collection bag. The waste inlet sized to fit around a stoma that has been formed through skin of the person. At least the front wall of the waste collection bag has a wall color characterized by a color value measured by a CMYK color code system, where the color value is in a range of: M from 0 to 15; Y from 0 to 10; and K from 10 to 25.

A system for anal and/or stomal irrigation comprises a reservoir () for an irrigating liquid, a catheter () comprising a catheter tip for insertion into the rectum and/or stoma of a user and for expelling of the irrigating liquid from the catheter tip, the catheter further comprising an expandable retention element (), such as a balloon. A pump () is provided to pump the irrigating liquid from the reservoir to the catheter tip, and a user-operable control interface () comprising a dedicated emergency stop zone () is provided for receiving user input to withdraw the irrigating liquid from the retention element () for purging thereof in any operational state of the system.

Emergency stop for a system and a method for anal and/or stomal irrigation

A system for anal irrigation is provided. The system includes a container, an anal probe, tubes and an electrical pump. The container has two configurations, a first collapsed configuration and a second expanded configuration. In the first configuration, a cavity for storing tubes and the anal probe is provided. In the second configuration, the container has a cavity for containing irrigation liquid. The pump and valves is stored in a cavity towards the bottom of the container.

An anal irrigation system including a control unit () is provided. The control unit () is connected to an external tube () by an extension cord (), so that pivoting of the control unit () with respect to the external tube () is possible.

An expandable collecting bag is provided. The collecting bag can be used in an ostomy appliance and has a cap portion and an expandable portion. The expandable portion is folded inside the cap portion with the outer surfaces facing each other. The cap portion is folded over and envelopes the expandable portion with the inner surfaces facing each other. A method for producing a collecting bag is also provided.

A human waste collection bag comprising a front wall facing away from the skin and a rear wall facing towards the skin, the walls being made from flexible material, the bag having an inlet opening for receiving human waste, wherein at least the front wall has a gray or grayish color that provides low contrast to the wearer's skin.
