The invention relates to a device for inspecting hollow spaces such as pipes, conduits, structures or containers. The device consists of the following: a probe with a built-in camera ( ) whose objective is oriented towards a front end of a base body ( ) of said probe; a hose-type supply line to the probe for a liquid or gaseous medium, said line being connected to the back end of the base body of said probe; a supply unit for the hose-type supply line, which is situated outside of the area where the probe is being used; at least one outlet nozzle ( ) for the medium, which is located on the probe; and transmission means which are provided between the camera ( ) and an evaluating and/or reproducing unit. At least three rotating outlet nozzles for the medium are situated on the periphery of the base body ( ) between its front and back end and the jet axis of the medium is angled at 0&deg; to 45&deg; from the central longitudinal axis between the front and back end of the base body ( ).

Device and method for inspecting hollow spaces

A covering rosette ( ) for the connection region of a sanitary wall-fitting ( ) comprises an ornamental hood ( ) which is capable of being attached to the mounting-wall, through the central passage opening ( ) of which ornamental hood a sleeve ( ) extends. Covering rosette for the connection region of a sanitary wall-fitting

A covering rosette (,) for a sanitary wall-fitting comprises, in a manner known as such, a covering plate (,) which is capable of being fastened to the wall-fitting and an ornamental hood (,) which is detachably fastened to the covering plate (,). Covering plate (,) and ornamental hood (,) are each provided with passage openings (,) for a region of the wall-fitting onto which an ornamental cap (,) is capable of being pushed from outside. On the covering plate (,) and/or on the ornamental hood (,) at least one spring shackle (,) is provided, the boundary surface (,) of which pointing towards the axis of the passage openings (,) is situated in the tension-free state on a circle, the diameter of which is equal to or smaller than the outside diameter of the push-on ornamental cap (,). In addition, the spring shackle (,) is provided on its outer boundary surface (,) with a latching device which interacts with a complementary latching device (,) on the respective other part (ornamental hood (,) or covering plate (,)) in such a manner that with the ornamental cap (,) pushed on the latching devices (,) cannot be detached from one another.

Covering rosette

A flush type mounting box for sanitary fittings carries on the outer surface of its side walls an annular collar of resilient material. This collar includes as one piece, a sealing region that is displaceable on the outer surface of the side walls, and a flange region, which is arranged to be introduced into the gap between two facing elements of the mounting wall and is fixed there, forming a seal. By this collar, the gap between the access opening in the facing elements and the mounting box can be sealed against moisture penetration. In the case of lining wall systems, corresponding to the distance between the supporting mounting plate of the mounting wall and the facing elements, the sealing region of the collar bears at different points on the outer surface of the side walls of the mounting box.

Flush-type mounting box for sanitary fittings

A pipe interrupter, which is particularly suitable for installation in a sanitary fitting, comprises in a housing a chamber, into which a water inlet pipe, a water outlet pipe and a ventilating passage open. A resilient closing flap comprises an attachment section as well as a closing section connected thereto in the manner of a hinge. Normally, as long as reduced pressure does not prevail in the inlet pipe, the closing section covers the opening aperture of the ventilation passage into the chamber, so that on the one hand no atmospheric air may enter and on the other hand no water may emerge. However, if a reduced pressure occurs in the pipe system, which is connected to the inlet pipe, then the closing section of the closing flap tilts by a certain angle, until it closes off the opening point of the inlet pipe into the chamber and on the other hand opens the ventilation passage to the chamber. In this way, water can no longer flow back into the inlet pipe and to the pipe system connected thereto; on the other hand, the waterways connected after the chamber are ventilated. Sucking-back of contaminated water into the drinking water system, which is connected to the inlet pipe, is thus reliably prevented. The dimensions of the pipe interrupter are small so that it can be located in particular in the base region of known sanitary fittings. (FIG. 1)

Pipe interrupter

A pipe interrupter, which is particularly suitable for installation in a sanitary fitting, comprises in a housing a chamber, into which a water-supply passage, a water-discharge passage and a ventilation path open. Located in the chamber is a rolling membrane, which is fixed at the peripheral region. Normally, thus as long as there is no reduced pressure in the supply passage, the rolling membrane bears in the central region against the opening aperture of the ventilation path in the chamber, so that on the one hand no atmospheric air may enter and on the other hand no water may escape. However, if reduced pressure occurs in the pipe system, which is connected to the supply passage, then the rolling membrane overturns so that now on the opposite side of the central region it closes the opening point of the supply passage into the chamber. On the other side, a ventilation path to the chamber is exposed. This ventilation path continues by way of a through-flow opening in the edge region of the rolling membrane towards the discharge passage. In this way, water can no longer flow back into the supply passage and into the pipe system connected thereto; on the other hand, the water-ways following the chamber are ventilated.

In a control disc valve, which is intended particularly for sanitary use, a first control disc containing water inlet openings is arranged in a stationary manner. A second control disc, which contains a recess, for example a guide channel through which water flows, is able to move with respect to the first control disc. A movement brake is provided, which retards the closing movement of the second control disc at least in the region immediately before the complete closure of the valve. For this purpose a cylinder bore is located in the movable control disc, which bore communicates with the recess in the second control disc through which water flows. A damping piston moves in the cylinder bore. The piston is actuated by way of a plunger, which at the time of the movement of the control disc abuts against another part of the valve, in particular against the wall of the cartridge housing.

On a single-lever mixer, the operating lever (26), which is rigidly connected to a cartridge adjusting shank (16), has a lever section (30) which is concentric with the adjusting shank swivel axis (18), is circular-arc-shaped and has been passed through an opening (32) in the circumferential wall (34) of the cover (36) shutting the cartridge reception opening (12) of the housing (10). The cover (36) is connected, so as to be secured against rotation, to an adjusting shank bearing part (20) which is rotatable about the cartridge axis.
