A combination hinge and latch that enables a door, gate or lid to be opened from a latched side and latched from the hinged side to provide more than one point of access for an area behind the door, gate or lid.

Hinge-latch combination

An extendable and retractable handle assembly comprises a handle connected to a marine vessel or watercraft. The handle is housed within the profile of the watercraft and is further connected to the watercraft by an elastic cord. The elastic cord is connected to both the handle and the watercraft to provide tension to the handle when extended.

Extendable and retractable handle assembly

A retention mechanism is provided for mounting the seat to a watercraft. The retention mechanism may comprise a receiver for receiving a graspable member of the seat therein. The receiver is upwardly open to receive the graspable member. A slide moves horizontally to partially obstruct the receiver so that the graspable member cannot escape from the receiver. A manual lever moves the slide between a locked for constraining the graspable member and an unlocked position for allowing the graspable member to be received by and removed from the receiver.

Seat retention mechanism

A watercraft is described that has a shell with a bottom hull, a top deck, a bow, and a stern. A storage compartment is integrally formed with the top deck of the shell. A seating area is provided above the storage compartment. A first standing zone is formed on the top deck adjacent to the seating area and located toward the bow relative to the seating area. The first standing zone defines a first plane. The first standing zone is not a floor of a well. The seating area is raised relative to the first plane.

Watercraft

A watercraft is described that includes a shell defining a hull and a deck. The deck defines at least one cavity recessed into an upward facing surface of the deck. The at least one cavity is defined by a peripheral wall and a bottom wall. The at least one cavity is configured to receive and removably retain an accessory mount within the cavity.

Kayak with accessory receiver

A mount for mounting a drive module to a watercraft is described herein. The mount in-use with the drive module is also described. The mount in-use with the drive module and the watercraft is also described. The mount includes a frame configured to be attached to the watercraft. The mount is also configured to attach to the drive module to selectively allow the drive module to translate from a first position to a second position. When in the first position, the drive module is capable of propelling the watercraft. The frame has a retainer to fix the drive module in the first position and a first spring to assist translation of the drive module toward the second position. The second position is a relatively raised position compared to the first position.

Propulsion system for a watercraft

An elevated seat for a kayak. A floor of the kayak generally defines a reference plane. The seat may include a first support bar configured to be releasably attached to the kayak at a first location and a second support bar configured to be releasably attached to the kayak at a second location spaced along a bow-stern direction of the kayak relative to the first location. The seat may also include a seating member extending from a distal end of the first support bar to a distal end of the second support bar. The seating member may be inclined at a non-perpendicular angle relative to the floor. When in use, the first and second support bars are configured to position the seating member above the floor by a sufficient distance to support a user substantially standing on the floor.

Elevated kayak seat

This disclosure discussed a kayak. The kayak may have a shell having a hull and a cockpit. The kayak may also have a console approximately centrally located within the cockpit along a widthwise direction of the kayak. The console may have a bottom wall separate from the hull and at least one side wall extending upwardly from a periphery of the bottom wall to at least partially define a storage compartment. The console may also have a replaceable cover. The replaceable cover may have a plurality of apertures of varied dimensions for organizing equipment at least partially staged within the storage compartment.

Disclosed adjustable seat systems that provide a self-contained height-adjustable seat system for sit-on-top kayaking that allows the seat to be adjusted into various height and angle positions, while maintaining independent adjustment to the fore/aft position of the seat in the kayak. Some of the adjustable seat systems include a seat upper that includes a seat bottom and a seat back; a seat base adapted to slidably engage a flat surface in the watercraft; and at least two pivot mechanisms coupling the seat upper to the seat base, wherein the at least two pivot mechanisms allow the seat upper to be raised and lowered relative to the seat base. Some of the adjustable seat systems further include a front seat axis, a rear seat axis, a front base axis, and a rear base axis, a front pivot mechanism that pivotally engages both the front seat axis and the front base axis, and a rear pivot mechanism that pivotally engages both the rear seat axis and the rear base axis.

Height-adjustable seat for watercraft

A portable air compressor includes an air tank for storing compressed air, the air tank having a generally flattened spherical shape defining a circumference lying in a plane oriented substantially perpendicular to a support surface in a resting position. The portable air compressor also includes compressor components in fluid communication with the air tank for providing compressed air to the air tank, the compressor components positioned adjacent to the air tank substantially on one side of the plane. At least one foot is coupled to the air tank and extends substantially parallel to the plane, the at least one foot for at least partially supporting the air compressor on the support surface such that the plane is oriented substantially perpendicular to the support surface. A handle extends from the air tank substantially parallel to the plane and in a direction generally opposite the at least one foot.

Portable air compressor

A paint sprayer includes a frame, a motor supported by the frame, a pump operably coupled to the motor to draw paint from a paint source and pressurize the paint, and a blower supported by the frame and operable to discharge pressurized air into the pressurized paint discharged by the pump.
