The present invention relates to a coupling device () to be connected to a corner fitting of a container, the coupling device comprises a housing (), an engaging part () which is at least partially insertable into and releasable from said corner fitting. The engaging part () has a guide part () for guiding the engaging part with said corner fitting, further the engaging part () is rotably mounted in said housing () by means of a shaft portion () extending into the housing. A lashing device includes a stretching device which is to be fastened between two fixing points that are to be secured to one another, the stretching device including stretching device parts which are each connectible to one of the fixing points. At least a first stretching device part has a stretching rod extending in the longitudinal direction of the stretching device and has a threaded portion. A second stretching device part supports a nut part which is to be screwed onto the thread of the first stretching device part. Between the first and the second stretching device part, a coupling part is arranged which, by snap action, allows mutual rotation of the two stretching device parts in at least a direction of rotation which corresponds to tightening of the stretching device and counteracts rotation in the opposite direction.
