A wind-power unit with a wind turbine, a generator with vertical axis a supporting pillar which supports the wind turbine, and a foundation for the supporting pillar (). The generator includes a stator which is integrated with the foundation.

Wind-power unit with vertical axis

The invention relates to a wind-power unit having a turbine having a vertical turbine shaft (), an electrical generator () connected to the turbine and a vertical hollow supporting pillar () supporting the turbine. According to the invention the material of the supporting pillar is in all essentials wood. The invention also relates to a supporting pillar for such a wind-power unit, an electric mains connected to the wind-power unit, a use of the wind-power unit and a method for the manufacture of such a supporting pillar.

Wind-power unit, a supporting pillar therefore and a use thereof

The invention relates to a power storage system intended to transmit power to and from a driving system of a vehicle. A power storage having a stator provided with two windings and at least one rotor provided with a magnetic-flux generating device is comprised. The rotor is connected to a flywheel intended for storage of energy. The two windings of the stator are arranged for high and low voltage, respectively. The power storage is arranged to transmit power to and from the electric apparatus as well as store energy transmitted from the electric apparatus in the flywheel.

The invention relates to a wave power assembly having a hull and a linear electric generator. The rotor of the generator is connected with the hull. The stator thereof is arranged to be anchored at a sea/lake bottom. According to an embodiment of the invention, the rotor is mounted in the cross direction by means of rolling elements. These are arranged between rolling surfaces on the rotor and support surfaces of a support means. The rolling elements are arranged to roll against the rolling surfaces and the support surfaces. The invention also relates to a wave power plant built up from wave power assemblies according to the invention. Furthermore, the invention relates to a use of the wave power assembly and a method for generating electric energy.

Wave power assembly

A wave power assembly comprising a hull and a linear electric generator. The rotor is connected to the hull and the stator is arranged to be anchored at a sea/lake bottom. The generator is provided with an electromagnetic damping means in order to keep the pulsations of the axial force exerted by the stator on the rotor at a relatively low level, which damping means comprises geometric arrangement adapted herefor of at least some one of the stator winding, the stator slots and the rotor magnets. The invention also relates to a wave power plant built up from wave power assemblies according to the invention. Furthermore, the invention relates to a use of the wave power assembly and a method for generation of electric energy.

Wave power assembly with an electromagnetic dampning means

A wave power assembly having a hull and a linear electric generator. The rotor is connected to the hull by connection means so that lifting force is transferred from the hull to the rotor. Spring means exert a force on the rotor that is counter-directed the lifting force. The spring means is arranged to, at a motion amplitude corresponding to 50% of the maximum length of stroke of the rotor, exert a force, the size of which varies by a factor of 2.5 as a maximum. The invention also relates to a wave power plant built up from wave power assemblies according to the invention. Furthermore, the invention relates to a use of the wave power assembly and a method for the generation of electric energy.

The present invention relates to a wave-power unit having a floating body () which is connected by a connection means () to the rotor () of an electric linear generator (). The stator () is anchored in the sea bed (). In accordance with the invention the rotor () is permanently magnetic and the stator () comprises winding forming a plurality of poles distributed in the direction of movement of the rotor. The invention also relates to a wave-power plant composed of a number of wave-power units in accordance with the invention. The invention also relates to the use of the claimed wave-power unit, a method of generating electric energy, a system of components for the manufacture of a linear generator for a wave-power unit in accordance with the invention, and to a method of manufacturing such a linear generator.

Electric device and method

A wind-power unit has a wind turbine has an electric generator connected to the wind turbine. The stator of the generator has a winding formed of a high-voltage cable having a core of conducting material, a first layer of semiconducting material surrounding the core, an insulating layer of solid material surrounding the first layer, and a second layer of semiconducting material surrounding th solid insulation. The wind turbine has a plurality of turbine blades running vertically and being connected to a turbine shaft. The generator is arranged at the lower end of the turbine shaft. A wind-power plant; the use of a wind-power unit; and a method of generating electric power are described.
