A method for operating a cargo door of an aircraft includes opening the cargo door inwardly in relation to an opening by pivoting the cargo door to an open position adjacent a ceiling of a cargo space. The cargo door is supported by a door frame during opening of the cargo door. The method further includes moving the cargo door in relation to the door frame to a position wherein the opening is substantially free from the cargo door. The cargo door is supported by a support frame, moveable in relation to the door frame, during this movement.

Cargo door operating method and device

An apparatus for ultrafiltration of a patient being overhydrated due to congestive heart failure, comprising a tube set including a connector () for connection to a patient line () for access to the peritoneal cavity of the patient. A flow pump (-) is arranged for addition and removal outflow and inflow (recirculation) of fluid from/to the peritoneal cavity. An osmotic agent peristaltic pump () is arranged for replenishment of glucose solution to the fluid added to the peritoneal cavity for promoting ultrafiltration. The glucose is replenished intermittently for keeping a concentration of glucose substantially constant in the peritoneal cavity. The flow pump comprises a pressure chamber () with rigid walls and a flexible pump bag () arranged therein. An air pump () pressurizes the chamber for outflow of fluid from the peritoneal cavity by a sub pressure and inflow of fluid to the peritoneal cavity by an overpressure, which pressures are maintained within safe limits.

Apparatus for performing peritoneal ultrafiltration

A cartridge to be used for adsorption dialysis. A container having flexible walls are arranged to provide an inner space enclosing adsorption powder, comprising activated carbon, a phosphate adsorbent and a potassium ion adsorbent and other adsorbents. A sufficient amount of activated carbon is provided for adsorption of urea by the activated carbon. The cartridge forms a vacuum-packed transportation cartridge by generating a sub-pressure in the inner space, whereby the powder particles are immobilized and the cartridge becomes stiff. Before use, the cartridge is primed by introducing a liquid into the inner space, which introduction takes place at a low pressure. During use, dialysis solution is circulated through the cartridge, which is still exposed to a sub-pressure, whereby the flexible walls are sucked against the powder material. A peritoneal dialysis circuit comprises a filter, in which a primary circuit is formed with the filter and the peritoneal cavity and a secondary circuit is formed with the filter and the adsorbent cartridge.

Cartridge and apparatus for performing adsorption dialysis

An apparatus for ultrafiltration of a patient being overhydrated due to congestive heart failure. The apparatus comprises a dilution syringe for removal of a portion of peritoneal fluid from the peritoneal cavity. A glucose bag comprises glucose concentrate at a concentration of 30%. A small amount of glucose concentrate is mixed with the dilution fluid in the dilution syringe in order to dilute the glucose concentrate to below 3% concentration. Then, the mixture is filled into the peritoneal cavity from the dilution syringe in order to replenish the glucose in the peritoneal cavity for maintaining a substantially constant glucose concentration in the peritoneal cavity. In addition, peritoneal fluid is intermittently removed from the peritoneal cavity for counteracting increased intraperitoneal fluid volume and increased intraperitoneal pressure due to ultrafiltration. A UF bag is arranged for receiving such surplus peritoneal fluid. A glucose syringe may be arranged for metering the glucose concentrate.

An analyzer is disclosed for optical analysis of a biological specimen. In at least one embodiment, the analyzer includes optics which includes a camera, intermediate optics and front optics. The intermediate optics is movably arranged and the front optics is fixedly arranged. An analyzer for optical analysis of a biological specimen, in at least one embodiment includes a robot for transporting a slide to be analyzed. The robot is controlled by at least three motors to allow movement of the robot in three dimensions. The robot includes a handling device configured to grip the slide.

The present invention for the first time proposes a system for loading and unloading loose cargo in a cargo hold, preferably of a plane. The system comprises a conveyor apparatus for transporting the loose cargo between a tarmac level or the like and a cargo hold opening, wherein the conveyor apparatus comprises a transport organ on whose transport side the loose cargo lies during loading and unloading. Moreover the system comprises an intermediate conveyor means which rests on the transport side of the conveyor apparatus in the range of a cargo hold-side end thereof and extends into the cargo hold for conveying loose cargo lying on a conveying side of the intermediate conveyor means between the conveyor apparatus and the cargo hold. The transport organ is to be deflected, in front of the placed-on intermediate conveyor means when viewed in the direction of loading-conveying, perpendicular to the plane of transport in a direction towards the conveying side of the intermediate conveyor means, so as to guide the loose cargo onto the conveying side of the intermediate conveyor means.
