A tube separator (1) having a shut-off means for separating an inlet side (2) from an outlet side (3) is provided. In order to prevent flutter of the shut-off means (4) in a pressure region changing over the shut-off means, a control valve (10) controlling the shut-off means (4) is provided. The control valve (10) is designed such that the pressure required for changing over from a first opened position to a second shut-off position is smaller than the pressure for changing over from the second into the first position.

A dirt and bacteria tight connection between a container for chemicals and the suction pipe of a metering pump is disclosed, which may in particular be used for the treatment of drinking water. In this way it is achieved that only degerminated air may enter the interior of the container when sucking metering fluid from the container.

Dosing pump

A dosing pump (1) is produced, with which a precise dosing is possible as a function of the time or of a flow rate. The dosing pump (1) operates with a preliminary transport obtained by means of a diaphragm (11). The stroke volume of the diaphragm (11) is greater than the volume of the pipe element present between a preliminary transport chamber (9) and a dosed medium tank (16). It is thereby made possible to omit a return pipe and a suction valve and a pressure valve.

A dosing appliance with a suction tube introduceable into a dosing-medium vessel is provided, and by way of this dosing-medium vessels of different shapes can be used. For this purpose, the dosing appliance has a supporting device which carries the dosing-medium vessel and is displaceable for the purpose of exchanging the dosing-medium vessel.
