A mobile crane including a frame which, in its upper part, is provided with a main support structure and which, in its lower part and on opposite sides of the lower part of the frame, is provided with lower beam structures transverse to the main support structure, and upright legs between the main support structure and the lower beam structures; at least one wheel or wheel arrangement at both ends of the lower beam structures, i.e. in each lower corner of the crane; a trolley arranged to move along the main support structure and provided with a hoisting member; at least one hoisting mechanism; at least one rope drum arranged to be run by the hoisting mechanism; and at least one rope arranged from the rope drum of the hoisting mechanism to the hoisting member for running it, the rope drum being further provided with at least one hoisting rope connected to at least one counterweight.

The invention relates to a crane comprising bogie structures () in the corners of the crane, a tandem drive wheel and idle wheel () arranged in each bogie structure and provided to turn in the bogie structure offset from their vertical axes, and a turning device arrangement () provided between each wheel pair for turning the wheel pair in cooperation to a selected position, the turning device arrangement comprising at least two turning rods () connecting the wheels, which turning rods are connected to counterparts () provided for each turning position or function in load-bearing structures () of the wheels () and turning along therewith, whereby at one wheel the position of the turning rods or the counterparts in the load-bearing structure is slidable around the load-bearing structure, yet the one of the counterparts or turning rods that corresponds to the selected turning position may be locked with a locking mechanism () immobile with respect to the load-bearing structure for enabling wheel turning.

The invention relates to an arrangement for controlling a loading element of a crane, the loading element of the crane including an actuator and a current supply cable for supplying current to the loading element. The arrangement for controlling the loading element including a control signal generator/transmitter for generating and transmitting control signals for controlling the actuator of the loading element, a control signal receiver for receiving the control signals in the loading element and a transmission path for transmitting the control signals from the control signal generator/transmitter to the control signal receiver. The transmission path for transmitting the control signals is provided in the current supply cable of the loading element. Furthermore, the control signals may be generated by sending first the control signal and then the current supply in a time-sequential manner, interrupting the power supply for short intervals or controlling the order in which the phases of a multi-phase power supply are delivered.
