The invention relates to a method and system for tailored communication between at least two mobile clients. In the communications system, calling party data is conveyed from a library server to the called mobile client before a voice initiation message of the calling mobile client to the called mobile client. The called mobile client presents the tailored calling party data on the display of the called mobile client when the mobile client is alerting. Also the calling party may get from the library server the tailored data of the called party.

Communication method and a communication system for tailored mobile communication

A positioning method, a tracker's terminal (), a positioning arrangement and a computer software product for tracking an object (), such as a dog. The method uses GPS positioning. The GPS position information of the object () is transmitted through either a circuit switched digital radio network () or an analogue radio link to the tracker's terminal (). The tracker's terminal includes a software application via which the received position information can, when desired, be transmitted though a packet switched network () to at least one other tracker's terminal ().

Method, device arrangement, terminal and computer software product for distributing telematic data of moving object

The invention relates to a location method, a locating device, a locating arrangement and a computer program for tracking an object, such as a dog. The method utilises GPS locating, the event time of which may be controlled by the user. In addition, the user may define a data transmission network via which location data are primarily communicated to the tracker's device. By means of the frequency of measurements and the data transmission network used, the power consumption of the locating device of the object being tracked is minimised.
