A method is provided comprising: providing particulate material comprising or consisting of particulate wooden material, producing glued particulate wooden material by applying an adhesive to the particulate wooden material, forming a spreading material mat by homogeneously spreading the glued particulate material onto a conveyor on which the spread glued particulate material is conveyed in a conveying direction, and producing a board by pressing the spreading material mat during conveying on the conveyor. Furthermore, a reinforcement material is applied to the spread glued particulate material perpendicular to the conveying direction during forming the spreading material mat and/or after forming the spreading material mat before any pressing of the spreading material mat such that the spreading material mat has at least one longitudinal reinforcement zone containing the reinforcement material. Boards can be obtained, from which panels can be produced having reinforced longitudinal and/or transversal edges.

A method of producing a board for production of panels is provided comprising: providing particulate material comprising or consisting of particulate wooden material, producing glued particulate material by applying an adhesive to the particulate material, forming a spreading material mat by homogeneously spreading the glued particulate material onto a conveyor on which the spread glued particulate material is conveyed in a conveying direction, and producing a board by pressing the spreading material mat. A reinforcement material is applied to the spread glued particulate material parallel to the conveying direction during forming the spreading material mat and/or after forming the spreading material mat before any pressing of the spreading material mat such that the spreading material mat has at least one longitudinal reinforcement zone containing the reinforcement material. Boards can be obtained from which panels can be produced which have reinforced longitudinal and/or transversal edges.

Method and apparatus for producing a board

A device and method for elutriating and gluing wood chips. At least one elutriating apparatus is used to fractionate the wood chips into at least one coarse chip fraction and one fine chip fraction. The elutriating apparatus has a fall duct and is designed so that the chip fractions pass through different gluing regions in the fall duct. At least one gluing apparatus is provided in order to glue the chip fractions in the gluing regions. Thus, the chip fractions can be glued in a common apparatus specifically with a glue amount adapted to a particular average chip size.

Device and method for elutriating and gluing wood chips

A surface covering kit is disclosed, comprising a plurality of generally rectangular panels (). Each panel is provided with grooves () forming an insertion channel () when two panels () are laid next to each other along their transverse sides () in a common laying plane (). An extraneous locking element () is received by the insertion channel (), the extraneous locking element () having a longitudinal dimension and a cross-section perpendicular to said longitudinal dimension which forms a cross with at least four cross arms. The corresponding cross arms of the insertion channel have two parallel flank surfaces () each, and each of the cross arms is oriented diagonally in a plane perpendicular to the panel plane ().
