The invention relates to an electric winding body which has improved performance characteristics as a result of being impregnated with a thermoplastic material filled with phase change material. These performance characteristics relate to improved heat dissipation, vibration damping, fixing of the coils, and improved protection against overheating by utilizing the sensitive and latent heat storage properties when the polymer units transition from the semi-crystalline state into the amorphous state.

The invention discloses a flexible, energy-self-sufficient UV dosimeter which optically indicates the absorbed dose on the basis of the intensity and duration of the irradiation via a color change. The invention contains one or more UV dosimeter modules. Exemplary UV dosimeter modules include at least one UV-sensitive photodiode (common electrode (), hole conductor layer (), UV absorber layer (), cathode ()) and an electrochromic element (common electrode (), ion storage layer (), electrolyte layer (), electrochromic layer made of redox active material (), transparent electrode ()), between which an insulator () and a conductor track () are arranged. The electrochromic element accumulates the charge generated by the UV-sensitive photodiode and indicates this by means of a color change. The UV dosimeter can be produced as an integrated circuit using thin-film technology by successively applying and structuring organic or inorganic functional layers.

Electrochromic module including first and second substrates is provided in which the first and/or second substrate are/is electrically conductive or are/is equipped with an electrically conductive coating. A first electrochromic polymer coating is arranged on the first substrate or the conductive coating, an ion-storage or charge-compensating layer is arranged on the second substrate or the conductive coating, and a polymer gel electrolyte is disposed between the electrochromic coating and the ion-storage or charge-compensating layer. The electrochromic polymer, a polymer of tetraarylbenzidine and (hetero)aromatic diol, is colorless in one redox state and colored in at least two redox states. The ion-storage or charge-compensating layer is formed from material selected from the group comprising cerium oxide, titanium oxide, tungsten oxide, nickel oxide, molybdenum oxide, vanadium oxide and mixtures thereof or redox-active polymer. The inventive modules achieve a large number of switching cycles, a high electrochromic contrast and a high electrochromic efficiency.

Stable electrochromic module

An electrochromic module including a first substrate and a second substrate is provided in which the first and/or the second substrate are/is electrically conductive or are/is equipped with an electrically conductive coating. An electrochromic polymer coating is arranged on the substrate or the conductive coating, an ion storage layer is arranged on the substrate or the conductive coating, and a polymer gel electrolyte is disposed in an electrically in-series connection between the electrochromic coating and the ion storage layer. The electrochromic polymer is a polymer of tetraarylbenzidine and (hetero)aromatic diol, which can be switched reversibly between redox states in a voltage-controlled manner. The condensation polymer is colorless in one redox state and colored in at least two redox states. The inventive modules achieve a large number of switching cycles without an appreciable decrease in the electrochromic properties, a high electrochromic contrast and a high electrochromic efficiency with effective switching kinetics.
