The disclosure relates to a bicycle support arm for a bicycle carrier. The bicycle support arm includes a first arm rotatably coupled to the bicycle carrier, a second arm slidably coupled to the first arm, and a pivotable head coupled to the second arm and configured to secure a bicycle to the bicycle carrier. In some embodiments, the pivotable head at least partially encloses a distal end of the second arm.

Load carrier, such as a bike carrier

The disclosure relates to a load carrier () for a vehicle, such as a bike earner (), adapted to be mounted to a vehicle for transporting a load, the load carrier () comprising-a base frame () having a length extension (L), a width extension (w) and a height extension (h), the base frame () comprising a first and a second elongated member () for carrying a load, wherein the first and a second elongated members () are separate from each other and provided substantially parallel with respect to each other along the length extension (L), wherein the base frame () further comprises:—a first and a second bridging portion () provided between the first and second elongated members () and coupling the first and second elongated members () together.

The present disclosure relates to a wheel holder for a vehicle, preferably a bike front wheel holder, with a load connecting portion, which is preferably releasably attachable to a load carrier, and a wheel holding member, wherein the wheel holder comprises a docking device configured for releasable attachment of the wheel holding member to the load connecting portion to allow for attachment of a wheel to the wheel holding member at a location remote from the load connecting portion. A roof rack foot for securing a cross bar to a roof of a vehicle. The roof rack foot includes a clamping portion and an adjustment mechanism. The adjustment mechanism includes an actuation element with an actuation device, and an engagement element. The actuation element is movably engaged with the engagement element in an engagement zone. The roof rack foot is configured to be secured to the roof or the cross bar by the clamping portion by operating the adjustment mechanism with the actuation device. The actuation device and the engagement zone are at least partially provided on opposite sides of the clamping portion in at least one operating condition of the roof rack foot.

Load carrier

Disclosed is a supporting unit for a bike carrier. The supporting unit is configured for fixedly holding a mounting portion mountable to the fork of a bike instead of a wheel or being formed by a part other than the wheel of the bike to be transported, for example by a portion of the fork of the bike. The supporting unit comprises a locking mechanism for receiving the mounting portion and to be transferable between a locking state in which the mounting portion is non-releasably fixed on the supporting unit and an unlocking state in which the mounting portion is dismountable from the supporting unit. The locking mechanism is lockable by receiving a force from the mounting portion upon inserting the mounting portion into the supporting unit so that the locking mechanism is transferable into the locking state by the force exerted on the locking mechanism by the mounting portion.

Supporting unit for a bike carrier

A roof rack foot for securing a cross bar to a roof of a vehicle, the cross bar having a bottom wall with a slot and a cavity for forming an abutment surface, the slot having a centerline, the roof rack foot having a supporting surface for supporting the bottom wall of the cross bar, a first and a second clamping portion for clamping the roof rack foot to the roof, the second clamping portion having an anchoring arm and configured to extend through the slot into the cavity and lock the cross bar to the supporting surface by engagement of the anchoring arm with the abutment surface. When the cross bar is locked to the roof rack foot, the anchoring arm stands upright on the abutment surface and at least partially extends away from the centerline of the cross bar at an extension angle.

A vehicle mounted bike carrier comprising: a carrier member configured to support a bicycle, a supporting structure a bike supporting device comprising: a first wheel supporting member having a first end having a pivotal connection on the carrier member where the connection is configured to be positioned proximal to the rotational axle of a first bicycle wheel, and a second free end configured to support said bicycle wheel, a second wheel supporting member having a first end having a connection on the carrier member where the connection is configured to be positioned distal to the rotational axle of said first bicycle wheel and a second free end configured to support said bicycle wheel.

Vehicle mounted bicycle carrier

A load carrier for a vehicle adapted to be mounted on the vehicle for transporting a load. The load carrier includes at least one pivot arm pivotably connected about a pivot axis to a base frame at a pivot connection portion. The at least one pivot arm is pivotable between an operative position and a storage position. The load carrier is adapted to at least partly carry the load when the at least one pivot arm is positioned in the operative position. The load carrier can include a locking mechanism for securing the at least one pivot arm in the operative position and in the storage position.
