A battery pack including m number of battery cells arranged in a first direction; and spacers on the battery cells, the spacers each including a plurality of spacer units arranged in the first direction, wherein each of the spacer units extends across n number of battery cells, in which n&#x3c;m, and each of the spacer units includes a plurality of spacing bars, each spacing bar being between adjacent ones of the battery cells, and connection bars connecting the plurality of spacing bars to each other.

Battery pack

A battery pack includes: a battery cell including a terminal surface on which an electrode terminal is located, a bottom surface opposite the terminal surface, and a lateral surface between the terminal surface and the bottom surface; a first tank facing the terminal surface of the battery cell; a second tank extending from the first tank and facing the lateral surface of the battery cell; and a third tank extending from the second tank and facing the bottom surface of the battery cell, and a cavity is defined in the first and second tanks to extend across the first and second tanks, the cavity being filled with a first cooling medium and being fluidically isolated from an outside of the battery pack; and a flow path is defined in the third tank to receive a flow of a second cooling medium which is different from the first cooling medium.

A battery module includes battery packs. Heat may be efficiently dissipated from the battery packs of the battery module, and heat dissipating efficiency may not vary according to positions of the battery packs; that is, heat may be uniformly dissipated. In addition, leakage of a cooling medium for dissipating heat may be prevented, and permeation of the cooling medium into the battery packs may be prevented.
