In order to minimize an additional non-output region that is generated when a wire bypasses a non-output region of a display, a mobile terminal is provided which comprises: a display panel including the non-output region; a TFT (Thin Film Transistor) substrate included in the display panel; a TFT wire that is provided on a front surface of the TFT substrate to form an output region and is isolated in the non-output region; a via hole formed at the isolated point of the TFT substrate; and a bypass wire for connecting the isolated TFT wire through the via hole.

According to one embodiment, provided is a mobile terminal for driving a large screen in sections, wherein the mobile terminal may comprise: a display panel including an active area from which an image is output; a first active area on one side of the active area divided into two sides; a second active area on the other side of the active area divided into two sides; a first driver provided in the display panel to control an image output from the first active area provided on the one side; and a second driver provided in the display panel to control an image output from the second active area provided on the other side.

The present invention provides a head mounted display comprising: a frame which is wearable on a user's head; a display unit which is mounted to the frame so as to output screen information; a lens module which is detachably inserted into the frame and includes a pair of lenses having a predetermined refractive index so as to form a virtual image of the screen information; a sensing unit which senses the lens module inserted into the frame; and a control unit which controls the screen information on the basis of the type of the sensed lens module.

A mobile terminal and a method of controlling the same are provided. The method includes receiving a touch input from a side area on a touch screen for more than a predefined amount of time; setting a touch-lock area on the touch screen based on an area of the detection of the touch input; and displaying the touch-lock area differently from the rest of the touch screen so as to be easily distinguishable. Therefore, it is possible to effectively set a touch-lock area on the touch screen and thus to prevent the mobile terminal from performing an operation against the will of a user.
