A method for disconnecting a wireless time-division duplex communication link. The time-division duplex communication link being between a first node transmitting during time slots allocated to said first node and a second node, wherein the second node is transmitting during separate time slots allocated to said second node, said first node transmitting at a respective one of a plurality of frequency bands during each of said time slots allocated to said first node. The method may include sub-dividing a time slot allocated to said first node into consecutive time intervals; disrupting communication between said first node and said second node by transmitting, using a transmitter, respective interference signals during at least some of said time intervals while maintaining a frequency difference between any pair of consecutive interference signals below a frequency difference threshold, each of said interference signals being transmitted on one frequency band selected from a group of frequency bands, the group of frequency bands comprises the plurality of frequency bands, wherein for at least two of said time intervals said interference signals are transmitted on different frequency bands, wherein the frequency difference threshold does not exceed a portion of a frequency gap between (a) a lowest frequency band of the plurality of frequency bands and (b) a highest frequency band of the plurality of frequency bands.

There may be provided a method for inducing a disruption to an operation of an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) that communicates with a remote controller, said method may include determining to induce the disruption to the operation of the UAV; and transmitting, to the UAV, one or more disrupting commands that once executed by the at UAV causes a unit of the UAV to malfunction, the malfunction induces the disruption to the operation of the UAV.

A method of detecting repetitive information in data packets communicated between a first node and a second node over a wireless network. The method includes (i) collecting samples of a data communication signal transmitted between said first node and said second node over said wireless network at a plurality of respective times; (ii) grouping said collected samples into a plurality of sequences of samples; (iii) combining said plurality of sequences of samples into at least one united signal; the combining includes detecting a respective data packet for each one of said plurality of sequences of samples; and (iv) based on an analysis of said at least one united signal, providing a signal indicative of repetitive information in a plurality of data packets carried by said data communication signal.

Method and system for providing seamless match point switching in an adaptive decoder (e.g., an MLSE decoder) that is based on estimation of symbol sequences, according to which statistics regarding samples corresponding to different symbol sequences in alternative match points are collected by a statistics collector, to create a set of figures of merit representing the quality of each alternative match point, while different match points are obtained by changing the delay of symbols decoded by the adaptive decoder and samples entering the statistics collector. A figure of merit of the current match point is compared to the figure of merit of alternative match points. Whenever an alternative match point figure of merit is better than the current match point by a predefined threshold, a decision to switch to the alternative match point is made. Seamless switching to the alternative match point is performed by shifting the sampling phase forward or backward, until obtaining better performance, while performing adaptation of the decoder to the sampling phase shift.

Method and system for estimating an eye diagram display of a real signal passing through a data communication channel, according to which decoded symbols of the transmitted real signal are captured, along with their corresponding ADC sample values and sampled at a rate of 1 SPS or more. Then statistic data is collected for each captured sequence of bits/symbols for each particular phase and a synthetic signal is created, based on the collected statistics, using a signal generator that produces samples by randomly creating a bit stream by generating a corresponding one or more samples for any symbol sequences in the bit stream according to the number of collected phases. Interpolation on the corresponding samples is then performed, according to required display time resolution and the synthetic signal is then displayed as a two-dimensional eye diagram image, representing all the statistics collected at all phases.

A method and a system are provided for reducing collisions created between endpoints in a wireless local area network environment incorporated with a distributed antenna system (DAS), wherein the DAS comprises a plurality of station units (STUs) each adapted to communicate wirelessly with one or more wireless stations, and at least one access point unit (APU) connected to the plurality of STUs and adapted to communicate with a respective access point. The method comprises: at a first STU belonging to the plurality of STUs, receiving a first signal transmitted wirelessly; conveying the first signal towards the APU; and at the APU, adapting the conveyed signal to be transmitted to the access point associated with the APU, and in response to receiving the first signal, conveying a return signal towards at least two STUs belonging to the plurality of STUs.
