The present invention relates broadly to a fall arrester () attached to a user's harness via a coupling arrangement (). The fall arrester () is designed to be attached to a backup rope or safety line (). The fall arrester( )comprises a body (), and a lever () pivotally coupled to the body (). The lever () includes a primary cam () which is arranged to co-operate with the coupling arrangement (). In operation, descent of the user urges the coupling arrangement () into contact with the leverwhich pivots to effect braking of the safety line () between the body () and the primary cam (). Some preferred embodiments include an inertial cam to initiate pivotal movement of the lever for braking of the rope with the primary cam; a tow cam connected to a tow line which includes a mechanical fuse; a secondary cam connected to the lever whereby panic gripping the rope and the coupling toward one another promotes braking of the rope between the primary cam and the body; an accelerator element to accelerate contact of the coupling with the lever; and an inverted cam to ensure correct orientation of the fall arrester.

Fall arrester

A jewellery case includes a base to which a jewellery mount is pivotally mounted, and a lid slidably coupled to the base. The jewellery mount is designed to temporarily hold a piece of jewellery such as an engagement or wedding ring.

Jewellery case

A table top utilising an anchor affixed to the said table top and at least one leg to support the table top above a ground surface. The anchor is adapted to engage with the leg via a pivoting joint, such that the leg can pivot between an active position where leg is presented to engage with the ground to support the table top above the ground, and a stowed position wherein the leg is disposed to extend substantially adjacent (preferably parallel) to the lower surface of said table top. The leg is releasably retained in the stowed position by the interaction of a catch and receiver at a location distal from the pivoting joint.

Table and table connector system

The present invention relates generally to a rope grab comprising a body, and a cover member pivotally coupled to the body. The rope grab also comprises a cam pivotally coupled to the body for grabbing a rope or other lifeline. The rope is grabbed or engaged within a recess defined by the body. The rope grab is designed to provide fall protection, work positioning, and a moveable and temporary anchor point on the lifeline.
