A control method for a washing machine includes a first drum operation of supplying water by a first set amount with a detergent into a tub and rotating a drum at a first drum rotation speed while supplying water and operating a pump at a first pump rotation speed, a second drum operation of operating a heater to heat the water in the tub having the first set amount of water, rotating the drum at the first drum rotation speed during the operation of the heater, and operating the pump at the first pump rotation speed, rotating the drum at a preset spin-drying speed to spin-dry laundry, operating the drum at a second drum rotation speed greater than the first drum rotation speed while supplying water, after the operation of spin-drying the laundry, and accelerating the pump from the second pump rotation speed to a third pump rotation speed.

A display device according to an embodiment includes a pixel and a bank. The pixel includes sub-pixels and an emission area including sub-emission areas corresponding to the sub-pixels. The bank surrounds the emission area. The pixel includes electrodes disposed in each of the sub-emission areas, at least one light emitting element disposed in each of the sub-emission areas, and bank patterns disposed under the electrodes, the bank patterns overlapping a portion of the electrodes. A display device may include pixels disposed on a substrate. Each of the pixels may include a first electrode, a second electrode spaced apart from the first electrode and enclosing a perimeter of the first electrode, light emitting elements disposed between the first electrode and the second electrode, and each including a first end and a second end, a third electrode overlapping the first electrode and the first end of each of the light emitting elements in a plan view, and electrically contacting the first electrode and the first end of each of the light emitting elements, and a fourth electrode overlapping the second electrode and the second end of each of the light emitting elements in a plan view, and electrically contacting the second electrode and the second end of each of the light emitting elements. The light emitting elements may be radially disposed around the first electrode.

A display device includes a base layer including a pixel area, and a pixel in the pixel area. The pixel includes a first area, and a second area enclosing the first area in a plan view, bank patterns at the pixel area, extending in a first direction, spaced from each other by a first distance in the first area, and spaced from each other by a third distance that is greater than the first distance in the second area, a first electrode and a second electrode at an area of the bank patterns, and spaced from each other by a second distance that is less than the first distance in the first area, a first insulating layer at a portion of the pixel area including the first area to cover the first electrode and the second electrode and removed from another portion of the pixel area including opposite edge portions.

A control method includes performing a first drum operation of supplying water by a first set amount together with a detergent into the tub and rotating the drum at a first drum rotation speed while water is supplied, operating the pump at a first pump rotation speed during the first drum operation, operating a heater to heat water in the tub, performing a second drum operation of rotating the drum at the first drum rotation speed during the operation of the heater, and operating the pump at a second pump rotation speed at least once during the second drum operation, stopping the operation of the heater, performing a third drum operation of rotating the drum at the first drum rotation speed, and operating the pump at the first pump rotation speed during the third drum operation.

An apparatus for manufacturing a light emitting display device includes a substrate transfer stage including a plurality of support plates arranged at an interval in a first direction, each of the plurality of support plates extending in a second direction; and at least one electric-field application module disposed on at least one side of the substrate transfer stage. A display device includes a substrate and a pixel on the substrate. The pixel has an alignment area, and the alignment area has a first alignment area, a second alignment area spaced apart from the first alignment area in a first direction, and a non-alignment area extending around a periphery of the alignment area. The pixel includes: a first electrode and a second electrode extending in the first direction across the alignment area and being spaced apart from each other; a first bank in the non-alignment area and extending along a boundary of the pixel; an alignment control layer including a first alignment control pattern, the first alignment control pattern being spaced apart from the first bank in the non-alignment area between the first alignment area and the second alignment area; and a first light emitting element between the first electrode and the second electrode in the first alignment area.
