A light-emitting assembly with improved illumination includes a first substrate, a light guide layer, light emitters, a touch sensor, a first reflective layer, and a second reflective layer. The first substrate defines a light-transmitting area. The light emitters are in the light guide layer. The light emitters emit light to illuminate the light-transmitting area. The touch sensor is opposite to the light-transmitting area. The first reflective layer is between the first substrate and the light guide layer and defines an opening aligned with the light-transmitting area. The second reflective layer is on a side of the light guide layer away from the first substrate. An electronic device using the light-emitting assembly and a method for making the light-emitting assembly are also disclosed.

A touch panel of improved appearance and function includes a substrate, first bridges, insulating strings, first electrodes, and second electrode strings. Each insulating string extends along a first direction and covers the first bridges. The insulating strings are spaced apart from each other in a second direction intersecting with the first direction. Adjacent first electrodes in the second direction are electrically connected to one first bridge to form a first electrode string. Each second electrode string is on one of the insulating strings. Each first electrode string and the adjacent second electrode string are insulated from each other by a difference in height along one insulating string. A method for making the touch panel and a touch display device using the touch panel are also disclosed.

Touch panel, method for making same, and touch display device

A touch sensing structure with improved illumination includes a first substrate, a decoration layer, a light-shielding layer, a light-emitting element, a pressure-sensitive element, a first reflective layer, and a second reflective layer. The pressure-sensitive element is farther away than the light-emitting element from the first substrate. The decoration layer shows a function icon. The light-emitting element emits light to illuminate the function icon. When the first substrate is pressed, the touch sensing structure determines a magnitude of the pressing force by detecting a change in the resistance or voltage value of the pressure-sensitive element. If the pressing force reaches a specific value, the function identified by the function icon is executed, otherwise no function is executed.

Touch sensing structure, and electronic device using same

A touch panel defines a touch area and a reduced border area surrounding the touch area. The touch panel includes a substrate, a first conductive layer on the substrate, an insulating layer on the substrate and covering the first conductive layer, and a second conductive layer on the insulating layer. The second conductive layer includes first electrodes and strings of second electrodes in the touch area, each string of second electrodes extending in a first direction. The first conductive layer is conductive but almost opaque. The first conductive layer includes a decorative portion in the border area and first bridge portions in the touch area. Each first bridge portion is electrically coupled between adjacent two first electrodes in a second direction that intersects with the first direction. The decorative portion is configured to release static electricity and shield the border area.
