A filter mainly includes a coil connecting frame, a plurality of coils received in the frame, and a first circuit board. The frame comprises a first surface with a plurality of first pins and a second surface, opposite to the first surface, with a plurality of second pins. The first pins are connected to the first circuit board, and the second pins are connected to an external electronic device while both the first and second pins are connected to the coils. The coil connecting frame further includes an electrical connecting portion between the first surface and the second surface with a plurality of conducting pins which penetrate through the first and second surfaces to connect to the circuit board and the second pins or external electronic device.

A signal exchange system includes a circuit board, a transforming connector and a network port. The transforming connector is electrically connected to the circuit board and includes at least one connecting terminal. The connecting terminal is electrically connected to an external device. The network port is disposed on the circuit board and electrically connected to the transforming connector for receiving a power signal transmitted from the transforming connector and transmitting a data signal.

A HomePlug apparatus is electrically connected to a power network and includes a HomePlug processing circuit and a surge protecting circuit. The HomePlug processing circuit is electrically connected to the surge protecting circuit. The surge protecting circuit has at least one inductor, at least one capacitor and at least one arrester. The inductor is electrically connected to the power network. The arrester is electrically connected to a ground. The inductor, the capacitor and the arrester are connected in series to guide a surge originated from the power network to the ground.

Apparatus and surge protecting circuit thereof

A connecting module includes a single housing including a front end, a first receiving hole and at least one second receiving hole. The first receiving hole is formed on the front end. The profile of the first receiving hole is used to receive a first external connecting plug. The second receiving hole is formed on the front end. The profile of the second receiving hole differs from that of the first receiving hole and is used to receive a second external connecting plug. The first and second receiving holes are arranged in a horizontal array.

Connecting module

A connection module for connecting an external plug includes a body, a plurality of internal terminals and a holding device. The holding device is disposed in the body and includes a plate, a first support and a second support. When the external plug is fitted in the connection module, the external plug can be securely fixed in the corresponding connection module.

Connection module

An inductor is made of a flat conducting wire with a constant thickness. The inductor includes a coiled portion and two leg portions. The leg portions are end parts of the flat conducting wire that are processed with a specific process. In addition, each leg portion has a thickness smaller than that of the coiled portion.

Inductor

A foolproof jack includes a shell and at least one elastomer. The shell has at least one joining opening, and the joining opening corresponds to a first type plug. The elastomer sets in the joining opening, and stops a second type plug to plug in the joining opening. The second type plug is different from the first type plug. The elastomer has a body and at least one stop portion. The body is mounted in the shell. In a Y-direction, at least one arm outward extends from the body. In a Z-direction, a part of the arm is bent. In an X-direction, the stop portion extends inward from the arm.

Jack

A filtering induction device is provided to improve the filter effect via the increase of an insertion loss resulting from stray capacitance. The induction device includes at least one core structure, and first and second flat coils that interlacing with each other. The first flat coil is used as an inductor, and the second flat coil is used as an electrode belonging to a capacitor formed between the circles of the first flat coil.

Filtering induction device

A network connector module is described. The network connector module keeps a safe distance between signal pins and power pins to improve a signal transmission quality thereof. The network connector module includes a plurality of phone jacks, a plurality of pins and a second connector. The pins electrically couple to a circuit board to transmit signals. The second connector is fixed on an upper shell of the network connector module and utilizes a power cord to couple to the circuit board for transmitting power.

Network connector module

Double-layer connector assembly has an upper-layer shielding housing, a lower-layer shielding housing, and a number of two-layer modules. Each two-layer module has an upper unit, a lower unit, and a supporting body. The upper unit has upper output pins and an upper guiding plate, and the lower unit has lower output pins and a lower guiding plate. The upper guiding plate and the lower guiding plate are connected by the supporting body and form a slit. Supporting plates of the upper-layer shielding housing and the lower-layer shielding housing are installed into the slit so that the upper-layer shielding housing, the lower-layer shielding housing are installed, and two-layer modules are connected together. Besides, processing circuits are selectively connected to the output pins of the upper and lower units so that the design is more compact.

Two-layer connector assembly

The present invention provides a low profile inductor and a method of making the same. First, a core seat including a cavity and two openings is provided. Then, a flat coil is embedded in the cavity of the core seat. The flat coil includes a first terminal and a second terminal extending outward or revealed by the openings so as to serving as the pins of the inductor. Further, a core cover is formed on the flat coil and the core seat.
