The present invention relates to a charge pump, which uses a chopper circuit or a clamp circuit coupled between a pump capacitor and an output capacitor for preventing a parasitic transistor produced by a switching mechanism from turning on. Thereby, the performance of the charge pump is improved effectively.

Charge pump

A method for determining an emitting angle of an optical pickup head of an optical drive. A jitter inspection device comprises a jig, simulating and adjusting a tilt angle of the optical pickup head, and a jitter meter installed on the jig, inspecting jitter values at different tilt angles. A quadratic surface equation decreases the data points required for measurement to five, and enables product efficiency to raise 17% , such that the minimum jitter value and optimum tilt angle can be obtained quickly.

Method for determining a tilt angle of an optical pickup head

An optical disk adjusting assembly for an optical disk reading device. The optical disk adjusting assembly includes a chassis, a first guide rod, a second guide rod, an adjustable positioning element, a clamping plate, a disk rotating module and a disk reading module. The first guide rod and the second guide rod are respectively disposed on the chassis. The adjustable positioning element constrains two ends of the first guide rod and one end of the second guide rod. The clamping plate is secured to the chassis by screws and used to restrain a portion of the adjustable positioning element. Thus, the adjustable positioning element can constrain and adjust the two guide rods efficiently.

Adjusting device for an optical disk reading device

A disk drive has a tray with a chassis secured to the tray, the tray and the chassis being housed inside a housing. The disk drive includes a slide mechanism that is positioned between the chassis and the tray, and which is movable independently from the chassis. The disk drive also includes a locking and ejection mechanism that includes a first part that is secured to the chassis and a second part that is secured to the slide mechanism. The tray is locked inside the housing when the first part and second part engage each other, and the tray is ejected from the housing when engagement between the first part and second part is released.

A guide rail assembly for use with a disk drive has a first rail that has a raised ridge with a wavy upper edge and a wavy lower edge. The assembly also has a second rail having a channel defined therein, with the channel having a wavy upper wall and a wavy lower wall. The raised ridge of the first rail is positioned for reciprocating movement inside the channel of the second rail.
