A projection display for providing virtual display images on a plurality of display planes which are offset to one another, includes a projection unit for producing a projection beam; and an optical imaging element which is designed to direct the projection beam onto a combination surface and to image, depending on the projection beam, the virtual display images into the plurality of display planes. The projection unit has a plurality of transparent display elements which are arranged so as to be spaced apart and one after the other along the beam path of the projection unit.

Projection display with representation in multiple display planes

A method for measuring a spectrum of an optical sensor, advantageously in the infrared region, in which a light beam impinges on an optical sensor in contact with a medium to be measured, wherein the optical sensor transmits a measurement beam changed by the medium to be measured and the measurement beam is fed to a pyrodetector, which issues output signals corresponding to the spectrum. The intensity of the measurement signal is modulated before impinging on a pyrodetector. In order to provide a cost effective, vibration free measuring apparatus, which has a long lifetime, intensity modulation of measurement beam occurs by tuning-in wavelengths contained in the optical spectrum of measuring beam.

Method and apparatus for measuring a spectrum of an optical sensor, advantageously in the infrared region

An optical subassembly for in- and/or out-coupling of electromagnetic radiation of a predetermined wavelength, especially IR-radiation, into, and/or out of, a pressure-tight housing. The subassembly includes at least one housing wall section of the pressure-tight housing having at least one opening, wherein, in the opening, mechanical setting means are provided, with which a plug transparent for the electromagnetic radiation is set, wherein the transparent plug has two mutually oppositely lying, base surfaces and a cylindrical lateral surface, and wherein the setting means include as least one setting ring, characterized in the a volume region between at least a first section of the setting ring and at least a section of the cylindrical lateral surface is filled with a pressure-tight, potting compound.

Optical subassembly for in-and/or out-coupling of electromagnetic radiation into, and/or out of, a pressure-tight housing

An ATR-probe including: a housing having a media opening; a radiation guiding body closing the media opening and having two planparallel surfaces, between which light can be guided by means of total reflection. A section of a first planparallel surface bordered by a sealing ring can be contacted through the media opening with a medium to be measured. Transmission light conductors and receiving light conductors in the housing, wherein light is guided from the transmission light conductors, through the radiation guiding body, into the receiving light conductors; and wherein adjoining the first planparallel surface are first and second deflection surfaces, on which, respectively, light coupled into the radiation guiding body and light to be coupled out are deflected by total reflection, so that the light can be guided between the planparallel surfaces by means of total reflection. The light is not collimated, and the effective area of the transmission light conductors is smaller than the effective area of the receiving light conductors.
