A device and a system includes a head-up display intended to be used to display projected images on surface such as an interior surface of a vehicle windshield. The device and system more particularly relates to a holographic head-up display device, a light module comprising a light source, together with a spatial light modulator displaying a computer-generated hologram once unmodulated beams are filtered using an optical filter. Said HUD device further comprises a head-tracking system for measurement of and adjustment according to interpupillary distance, a processor circuitry for said adjustment and processing pertaining thereto to be undertaken, as well as an optical steering apparatus.

Holographic head-up display system

Disclosed are an optical interferometry apparatus for detection of dielectric nanoparticles and a method for enhancing visibility of the nanoparticles. An imaging system for detection of dielectric nanoparticles includes at least one light source for illumination, a detector array or a camera for image capture, an objective lens, a sample substrate and a computing unit. The sample substrate is capable of carrying sub-wavelength particles smaller than the diffraction resolution limit of the imaging system, and the imaging system includes a movable means which moves the sample substrate in the axial direction such that depthwise different images are captured at different axial distances from the sample substrate to the objective lens. The computing unit computes a correlation image using the depth images wherein the sub-wavelength particles become resolvable and appear with higher contrast in the correlation image.

Method and apparatus for detecting nanoparticles and biological molecules

A sensing device for measuring physical properties of fluid medium uses fiber based cantilevers embedded in a cartridge. Near-to-eye image display device delivering enhanced viewing experience

A projection display system may be used to display projected images on an image display layer embedded on the surface of an object. The projection display system may include an image capturing device, a projector unit and a passive screen. The passive screen may include a display layer effecting display of at least one image projected thereon. The passive screen is further placeable on a surface of an object in the manner that said image capturing device in optical communication with said passive screen identifies physical boundaries of said passive screen and the projector unit projects at least one image scaled onto the passive screen within the boundaries thereof.
