A damper for a glove box includes a cylinder, a piston movably disposed in the cylinder, and a valve movably disposed in an accommodation portion of the piston. The piston includes a piston body in which an orifice is formed and a rod formed to protrude from the piston body and in which the accommodation portion is disposed. The valve includes a valve body, a pin formed to protrude from the valve body to have an end portion thereof disposed in the orifice, and a leg formed to protrude from the valve body. The valve is configured to move due to movement of the piston in a direction opposite to a movement direction of the piston to have the leg come into contact with the piston body.

Glove box with damper

A damper for a glove box including a cylinder including a cylinder body that defines a space therein, a partition that divides the space into a first space and a second space, and a first protruding portion protruding from the partition so that a hole formed in the partition is extended; a piston disposed in the first space to be movable in a first direction; a valve disposed in the second space; and an elastic support unit disposed in the second space to elastically support the valve. The elastic support unit is in contact with and pressed by the partition due to movement of the piston.

A damper for a glove box includes a cylinder including a cylinder body defining a space therein, a partition that divides the space into a first space and a second space and in which a hole is disposed, and guide holes disposed in the cylinder body to communicate with the second space, a piston disposed in the first space to be movable in a first direction, a valve disposed in the second space, and an elastic support unit disposed in the second space to elastically support the valve. The guide holes include a first guide hole and a second guide hole disposed apart from each other along a circumference of the cylinder body, and a protrusion of the valve is disposed in one of the first guide hole and the second guide hole.
