Heat pump system for a vehicle and method for controlling same, which can, during mode changing between air heating and conditioning, prevent noise and vibration due to a pressure difference between refrigerants and reduce delay time. Heat pump system comprises a compressor compressing and discharging refrigerant, an indoor heat exchanger in air conditioning case, causing the refrigerant discharge from the compressor to heat the air, a first expansion valve for selectively expanding the refrigerant passed through the indoor heat exchanger, an evaporator in air conditioning case, enabling refrigerant to exchange heat with air evaporating refrigerant, and a controller for controlling the opening degree of the first expansion valve during mode changing between air heating and conditioning, wherein the controller turns off the compressor and gradually opens the first expansion valve to increase the opening degree when the mode is changed from the heat pump mode to the air conditioning mode.

Heat pump system for vehicle and method for controlling same

The present invention relates to a vehicular air conditioning system and provides a vehicular air conditioning system capable of preventing overheating of an inverter that controls the rotation speed of an electric compressor without cutting off the inverter, and consequently preventing the stoppage of an air conditioner due to the cut-off of the inverter and the resultant stoppage of cooling of a passenger room. The vehicular air conditioning system includes an electric compressor, an inverter configured to control a rotation speed of the electric compressor, and a control part configured to execute control so that a refrigerant flow rate on an inlet side of the electric compressor increases when a temperature of the inverter is equal to or higher than a preset overheating warning temperature.

Vehicular air conditioning system

Disclosed is an air conditioning apparatus for a vehicle, the air conditioning apparatus being applicable to an autonomous vehicle, etc. having console removed therefrom by ensuring a lower space of a driver's seat in a front part of the vehicle and being capable of preventing condensate water from flowing backward. The air conditioning apparatus for a vehicle comprises: an air conditioning case having an air flow path formed therein and a plurality of air discharge ports; and a cooling heat exchanger and a heating heat exchanger provided in the air flow path of the air conditioning case and exchanging heat with the air passing through the air flow path, wherein the air discharge ports include a front seat air discharge port and a back seat air discharge port, and the back seat air discharge port is arranged under the heating heat exchanger in the direction of gravity.

The present invention relates to a coolant heater comprising: a heating element for heating coolant; a first housing for accommodating the heating element; a cover plate for sealing the first housing in which the heating element is accommodated; a temperature fuse provided in an external space formed by coupling the first housing and the cover plate, and disposed to be adjacent to the cover plate; and a second housing for pressing the temperature fuse so as to pressurize the same toward the cover plate, wherein overheat sensing responsiveness of the heating element is improved such that the overheat of the heating element can be prevented, and failure factors in a part in which the temperature fuse is coupled are reduced such that a durability is improved.

Coolant heater

The present invention relates to a coolant heater. The purpose of the present invention, a coolant heater which effectively heats coolant of a vehicle by means of a heating unit, is to provide a coolant heater having improved sensitivity and responsiveness to over-heating and assured stability by utilizing a temperature fuse to prevent over-heating. Another purpose of the present invention is to provide a coolant heater having enhanced durability of the temperature fuse coupling part by improving the structure by which the temperature fuse is fixed.

The present invention relates to an air conditioner for a vehicle having a rear seat outlet, which can relieve temperature inversion that discharge temperature of the console vent becomes higher than discharge temperature of a rear seat floor vent in a bi-level mode, and prevent reduction of air volume of the console vent in the cooling mode. The air conditioner for a vehicle, which has a rear seat outlet, includes an air-conditioning case having an air passageway formed therein and a plurality of air outlets, and a cooling heat exchanger and a heating heat exchanger disposed in the air passageway of the air-conditioning case to exchange heat with air passing through the air passageway. Wherein the air outlets include a console vent and a rear seat floor vent, and an entrance of the rear seat floor vent is formed above an entrance of the console vent.

A heat pump system including a compressor mounted on a refrigerant circulation line for compressing and discharging refrigerant. An internal heat exchanger is mounted inside an air-conditioning case. An evaporator is mounted inside the air-conditioning case. An external heat exchanger is mounted outside the air-conditioning case. A first expansion means is mounted on the refrigerant circulation line between the internal heat exchanger and the external heat exchanger to selectively expand refrigerant discharged from the internal heat exchanger. A second expansion means is mounted on the refrigerant circulation line of an inlet side of the evaporator to expand the refrigerant supplied to the evaporator. A coolant circulation line is configured to circulate coolant toward electronic units of the vehicle. A refrigerant-coolant heat exchanger is configured to exchange heat between the refrigerant flowing the refrigerant circulation line and the coolant circulating through the coolant circulation line.

Heat pump system for vehicle

The present invention relates to a vehicular heat pump system and, more specifically, to a vehicular heat pump system having a chiller for heat exchanging cooling water circulating through vehicle electrical equipment (), a refrigerant discharged from an outdoor heat exchanger so as to flow through a first bypass line (R), and a refrigerant discharged from an indoor heat exchanger, thereby: in the air conditioner mode, increasing sub-cool while the refrigerant discharged from the indoor heat exchanger is first cooled at the chiller and then is second cooled at the outdoor heat exchanger such that the flow rate of refrigerants increases and cooling performance is improved; in the heat pump mode, allowing the refrigerant discharged from the indoor heat exchanger to ensure sub-cool in the chiller so as to increase the flow rate of refrigerants, and allowing the refrigerant discharged from the outdoor heat exchanger to receive an additional heating source from the chiller so as to improve heating performance; and, even in the defrost mode carried out because of frost on the outdoor heat exchanger, ensuring an additional heating source in the chiller so as to minimize a change in indoor discharge temperature because of a lack of heating sources.

Vehicular heat pump system

The present invention relates to a heat pump system for a vehicle. The heat pump system includes a refrigerant-coolant heat exchanger for exchanging heat between refrigerant circulating through a refrigerant circulation line and coolant circulating through electronic units of the vehicle. The heat pump system can operate the heat pump mode even though outdoor air temperature is zero or lower or frosting is formed on the external heat exchanger because waste heat of the electronic units is retrieved through the refrigerant-coolant heat exchanger, thereby further enhancing heating performance and efficiency.

A positive temperature coefficient heater includes PTC elements embedded in adjacent heat rods, the PTC elements of the adjacent heat rods include center lines mismatched with each other and configured to minimize regions in which the PTC elements are overlapped with each other in the heat rods in which a plurality of PTC elements spaced apart from each other so as to form columns and rows and arranged in a single layer are embedded.

A heat pump system for a vehicle which uses an evaporator of an air-conditioning case for common use in an air-conditioning mode and in a heat pump mode for cooling and heating so as to reduce weight and manufacturing costs. The heat pump system can be applied without any change in structure of the air-conditioning case, and can be operated even at low temperature without any influence of outdoor temperature because the heat pump system uses waste heat of an engine so as to enhance fuel efficiency and increase heating performance and efficiency.

Disclosed herein is a method for controlling an electromotive compressor in a heat pump system for a vehicle. In accordance with an embodiment of the present invention, an unexpected cutoff of a compressor attributable to overload and the generation of noise and vibration attributable to frequent restarts can be prevented by controlling the number of rotations of the compressor within a specific range based on the discharge pressure of the compressor.
