A DC-DC converter includes a plurality of converters and a discharging circuit. A current of a first direction is injected to the inductor to store energy, and the voltage of the electrode is changed to V/2 using a resonance between the inductor and the panel capacitor and the stored energy. Subsequently, a current of a second direction, which is opposite to the first direction, is injected to the inductor to store energy therein. A plasma display panel driving apparatus for applying a voltage to an electrode of the plasma display panel. The apparatus includes a first voltage applying unit to apply a first voltage and a third voltage to the electrode, and a second voltage applying unit to apply a second voltage to the electrode.
