A swing arm having a reduced number of parts in which manufacturing cost can be reduced. In a swing arm including: vehicle-body-side support portions that are supported on a vehicle body side by a first rotary shaft; wheel-side support portions that are supported on a wheel side by a second rotary shaft; and a pair of arm portions that connect the vehicle-body-side support portions and the wheel-side support portions to each other, cross members that extend in an axial direction of the first rotary shaft is arranged on the pair of arm portions so as to extend between the pair of arm portions, and the cross members have a U shape in cross section orthogonal to a longitudinal direction of the cross members, thus forming opening portions that open so as to face a direction that the pair of arm portions extends.

Swing arm

A lower arm has a first arm main part having a U-shape and a first vehicle-body-side front joint and a first vehicle-body-side rear joint provided at the tip parts of the first arm main part. An upper arm has a second arm main part having a U-shape and a second vehicle-body-side front joint and a second vehicle-body-side rear joint provided at the tip parts of the second arm main part. At least part of the second vehicle-body-side rear joint is overlapped with the first vehicle-body-side rear joint in plan view. The second vehicle-body-side front joint is offset to the rear side relative to the first vehicle-body-side front joint. A cushion unit disposed on the front side of the second arm main part is provided between a vehicle body frame F and the lower arm.

Independent suspension system of drive wheel

A vehicle having a single seat for a plurality of occupants sitting side by side in a lateral direction of the vehicle. The seat has a front end recessed rearwardly at a center seat portion so as to form a substantially U-shaped recess as viewed in a plan view. The recess is composed of a bottom portion and a pair of left and right side portions extending obliquely in a forward direction from the left and right ends of the bottom portion. At a left corner portion of a right seat portion where the right side portion of the recess intersects the front end of the right seat portion, there is provided a seat grip for gripping by the occupant sitting on the right seat portion. The occupant can easily grip the seat grip with his/her hand in the vicinity of his/her body, thereby obtaining good support for the body.

Seat structure for vehicle

A rough terrain vehicle capable of maintaining the cooling performance of a radiator is disclosed herein. A rough terrain vehicle in which a radiator is arranged between left and right front wheels and so as to be overlapped with the left and right front wheels in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle, and the radiator is surrounded by a front cover, wherein: the front cover includes a grille configured to introduce traveling wind into the radiator, and extension portions extending toward the vehicle rear from both ends of the grille in the vehicle width direction; a bumper is attached to a body frame; the front end of the bumper is arranged closer to the vehicle front than the front ends of the left and right front wheels; the extension portions are arranged between the bumper and the radiator outside the radiator in the vehicle width direction.

Rough terrain vehicle

A hood covers a front part of a vehicle body from above and extends rearwardly and upwardly from a front end of the vehicle body. The hood includes upper surfaces provided at left and right parts of the hood, guide walls protruding upwardly from the upper surfaces, and a lid defining a lateral central part of the hood and contiguous with the upper ends of the guide walls. The guide walls extend continuously from a front end of the hood to a rear end of the hood. An instrument panel includes an upwardly inclined wall extending rearwardly from the rear end of the hood. The inclined wall slants at an angle larger than an angle at which the hood slants. The inclined wall of the instrument panel has an upper end located higher than an upper end of the hood.

Hood structure for uneven terrain traveling vehicle

A vehicle includes a cargo area having folding seats and rear doors. The rear doors are provided with a seat stopper on an inner side. The seat stopper presses a seat back plate from above when the door is closed and the seat back plate is folded down to prevent the seat back plate from being lifted.

Vehicle

A vehicle includes a vehicle body frame, an engine attached to the vehicle body frame, and a power transmission unit for transmitting output from the engine to a wheel of the vehicle. The vehicle body frame includes a plate-shaped suspension-supporting bracket which is integrally connected to front end portions of main frame sections extending in a forward/rearward direction of a vehicle at a lower portion of the vehicle body frame, and also is integrally connected to lower end sides of front frame sections vertically extending at a front portion of the vehicle body frame. The plate-shaped suspension-supporting bracket includes suspension arm-supporting portions formed integrally therewith. The lightweight vehicle body frame reduces total weight of the vehicle and, at the same time, enhances assembling accuracy thereof.

The vehicle body frame is configured in a manner that an upper tension pipe is removed from a first cross portion and a second cross portion. When mounting the engine in the vehicle body frame, the vehicle mounted component that is relatively heavy can be lowered into the vehicle body frame from above by removing the upper tension pipe. The vehicle body frame simplifies the removal and installation of the vehicle-mounted components.

A removable steering angle sensor for a motor-driven power steering apparatus for use in a vehicle intended for rough road use. The handlebar of the vehicle is disposed on an upper portion of a steering shaft, and a motor-driven power steering apparatus, including a power assist portion as an actuator unit, is disposed in a middle portion of the steering shaft. The steering angle sensor for detecting a steering angle is disposed on one end of the steering shaft, or more specifically, on a lower end portion of an output shaft, or a leading end portion of an output shaft. During maintenance, this arrangement provides for easy removal and installation of the steering angle sensor.
