The power conversion device includes: a power module; a plurality of capacitor elements each having an element body portion, a first electrode, and a second electrode; a first busbar connecting the first electrode and the power module; and a second busbar connecting the second electrode and the power module. The power module is disposed so as to be opposed to a side surface of the element body portion of only one of the capacitor elements. One or each of the first busbar and the second busbar has, as a connection member connecting the power module and a corresponding one of the first electrode or the second electrode to each other, an opposed plate-shape portion opposed only to an opposed portion of the side surface of the element body portion opposed to the power module.

A power conversion device includes: main circuits each having a plurality of power modules that are parallelly connected to each other; and driving circuits for driving the main circuits. The driving circuits are each provided with: at least one driver for generating control signals to be inputted to the respective module control terminals of the plurality of power modules; and a filter that is connected between the at least one driver and the module control terminals, the filter having, per each module pair formed of two power modules, an impedance characteristic with a peak shape showing an increased impedance in a predetermined specific frequency range. The filter has a coupling element per each module pair, the coupling element being connected between two module control terminals and including a capacitor.

A driving device for a multipolar type linear DC motor using a PWM (pulse width modulation) driving signal for driving a linear DC motor by causing an excitation coil of the motor, placed in alternating fields, to generate an induction field, and switching polarities of the induction field. The device includes a magnet polarity detecting circuit for detecting a direction of a magnetic field acting on the excitation coil in the alternating fields, an electric filter for removing an output signal output from the magnet polarity detecting circuit and having the same period as a PWM drive period, and polarity switching control circuit for controlling a direction and generation time of an induction field generated by the excitation coil in accordance with an output signal from the magnet polarity detecting circuit.

A calling device and a motion toy for using the calling device are disclosed. The motion toy comprises a body frame having a machine frame inside thereof. Foreleg frames, hind leg frames, and a tail frame are rotataly mounted on the body frame. A nose frame is mounted for back and forth movement on the main frame. A first driving gear is rotatably mounted in the machine frame to actuate the foreleg and hind leg frames. A second driving gear is rotatably mounted in the machine frame to actuate the tail and nose frames. A changeover gear is mounted on the machine for rotation about an axis and sliding movement along the axis for alternate engagement with either the first or the second driving gear. A motor is operatively connected to drive the changeover gear. The calling device of the motion toy includes a calling gear having teeth thereon rotatably mounted on the machine frame. A resonance box is mounted on the machine frame and has a resonance lead presenting an oscillation portion in facing relation to the calling gear. A rocking arm is rotatably mounted on the machine frame and has a support plate engageable with the resonance lead and a cam follower. A cam is rotatably mounted on the machine frame for contact with the cam follower so that rotation of the cam will cause the cam follower to rotate the rocking arm back and forth to move the support plate into engagement with and disengagement from the oscillating portion of the resonance lead to cause it to intermittently contact the teeth on the calling gear.
