Provided is a toner for developing an electrostatic image wherein an environment variation difference in a charging ability can be controlled to be small while having sufficient low temperature fixability. The toner includes toner particles that contain at least a binder resin. The binder resin contains a polymer prepared by polymerizing a polymerizable monomer represented by a following general formula (1). In the general formula (1), Rand Reach independently represent a hydrogen atom, or a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group having 1 to 2 carbon atoms; and Rrepresents a hydrogen atom, or a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms. X represents an oxygen atom or a single bond; Y represents a substituted or unsubstituted alkylene group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, or a single bond; and Ar represents a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group. 

Toner for developing electrostatic image

The present invention provides a toner for electrostatic image development that suppresses the fluctuation of electrostatic charge amount in accordance with environmental fluctuation and has good color reproducibility (wide color gamut), a producing method of the toner, and an image forming method using the toner for electrostatic image development. The toner for electrostatic image development of the invention includes a toner particle that contains at least a binder resin. The toner particle includes a polymer having a structural unit represented by a following general formula (1) as the binder resin. where Rrepresents a hydrogen atom or substituted or unsubstituted C1-C2 alkyl group, A represents an oxygen atom or divalent linking group, B represents a hydrogen atom, substituted or unsubstituted C1-C4 alkyl group, aldehyde group, carboxy group or hydroxy group, and X represents an oxygen atom, nitrogen atom or sulfur atom.

Toner for electrostatic image development, production method of the toner and image formation method

A toner for electrostatic image development having sufficient low-temperature fixing properties, and excellent heat resistant storage stability and crush resistance is provided. Provided is a toner for developing an electrostatic image. The toner has excellent heat-resistant storage properties and crush resistance while having sufficient low temperature fixability. The toner for developing an electrostatic image includes toner particles that contain at least a binder resin. The binder resin contains a polymer prepared by polymerizing a polymerizable monomer represented by a following general formula (1). In the general formula (1), Rand Reach independently represent an aliphatic hydrocarbon group having 1 to 60 carbon atoms, an aliphatic group wherein some of carbon atoms of the aliphatic hydrocarbon group are substituted with an oxygen atom, or an aromatic hydrocarbon group optionally having the aliphatic hydrocarbon group or the aliphatic group as a substituent; and Rand Reach independently represent a hydrogen atom or an aliphatic hydrocarbon group.

Toner for electrostatic latent image development and production method thereof

Provided is a method of manufacturing toner by which the toner capable of forming high quality images and reproducing high density gradation, which exhibits an excellent high-temperature offsetting property together with excellent low-temperature fixability, and provides appropriate gloss with respect to images to be formed, can be stably prepared; and also provided is the toner. After conducting a step in which particles made of at least a crystalline polyester resin are coagulated to form core coagulated particles, and an unsaturated amorphous polyester resin particle is attached onto the surface of each of the core coagulated particles to form core-shell type coagulated particles, radical polymerization reaction is conducted by acting a radical polymerization initiator on the foregoing core-shell type coagulated particles to conduct a step in which a layer made of a crosslinking amorphous polyester resin is formed on the surface of each of the core coagulated particles.

A method of producing an electrostatic image developing toner comprising toner particles comprising a binder resin containing at least a non-crystalline polyester resin having a crosslinking structure and a crystalline polyester resin, the method comprising the steps of (a-1) preparing a crystalline polyester resin particle aqueous dispersion liquid; (a-2) preparing a polymerizable unsaturated non-crystalline polyester resin aqueous dispersion liquid; (b) preparing crosslinking non-crystalline polyester resin particles by adding a radical polymerization initiator to the aqueous dispersion liquid of particles containing the non-crystalline polyester resin having a polymerizable unsaturated bond; (c) preparing core particles by aggregating at least the particles containing the crystalline polyester resin in an aqueous medium; and (d) preparing a shell layer containing the non-crystalline polyester resin having a crosslinking structure by fusing the particles containing the non-crystalline polyester resin having a crosslinking structure on surfaces of the core particles in an aqueous medium.

An electrophotographic photoreceptor is disclosed. The photoreceptor contains in a light sensitive layer thereof a titanylphthalocyanine having specific crystalline characteristics as defined in the specification and a polycyclic quinone pigment or a bisazo pigment as defined in the specification.
