To simplify the configuration, decrease the number of parts, and reduce the manufacturing cost, a windshield device for a saddle-ride type vehicle includes: a screenwhose height is adjustable; a holderholding the screen; a bracketfixed to a vehicle body side memberand having a guide hole; an armarranged between the holder and the bracket; a first shaftrotatably coupling the holder and the bracket and configured to move along the guide hole; a second shaftarranged parallel to the first shaft and coupling the holder and one end of the arm; a third shaftarranged parallel to the first shaft and coupling the bracket and another end of the arm; and an operation memberprovided at an end portion of the first shaft.

Windshield device for saddle-ride type vehicle

An airbag device attached to a vehicle body frame member and covered by a garnish is configured such that when a bag body is deployed, the airbag device pushes out the garnish to create a gap between the garnish and the vehicle body frame member to allow the bag body to be inflated out of the gap. The clip for securing the garnish to the vehicle body frame member includes a first member configured to be fixed to the vehicle body frame member, a second member configured to be fixed to the garnish, and a connecting member for keeping the first member and the second member connected when the airbag is deployed. The connecting member is tiltable with respect to the first member and the second member so that the movable range of the clip can be maximized without using flexible material for the connecting member.

Clip

An airbag device attached to a vehicle body frame member and covered by a garnish is configured such that when a bag body is deployed, the airbag device pushes out the garnish to create a gap between the garnish and the vehicle body frame member to allow the bag body to be inflated out of the gap. A clip for securing the garnish to the vehicle body frame member includes a first member configured to be fixed to the vehicle body frame member, a second member configured to be fixed to the garnish, and a connecting member for keeping the first member and the second member connected when the airbag is deployed. The first member and the second member are provided with a first inclined planar surface and a second inclined planar surface, respectively, that are slidable relative to each other.

Provided is an onboard electronic device mounting structure that prevents rattling of the electronic device, and does not unduly limit the mounting space for other components. The mounting structure () secures a camera () to a window (W) of a vehicle via a mounting device (). An engagement portion () provided in a front end side of the camera abuts against a base () of the mounting device, and a biased portion including a columnar member provided on a lateral side of the camera is supported by the base. A biasing member () of the base biases the biased portion against a supporting portion () of the base. The supporting portion is provided with two supporting surfaces (and) which support the biased portion with two reaction forces each at an angle to the direction of the biasing force of the biasing member.

Onboard electronic device mounting structure

An onboard electronic device cover configured to be engageably secured to a base member, which is to be fixed to a window glass of a vehicle, to cover an electronic device which is to be held on an installation part, includes: a mutual engaging mechanism capable of mutually engaging the onboard electronic device cover with the base member. The mutual engaging mechanism includes: an engaging part provided to one of the base member and the cover; an engaged part provided to the other of the base member and the cover and capable of engaging with the engaging part; and an urging member configured to urge the engaging part toward the engaged part. When the cover is pushed toward the window glass, the engaging part engages with the engaged part with being urged in a direction following a surface of the window glass by the urging member.

Cover for onboard electronic device

Lateral sides of an engine and a fuel tank are covered with a tank cowling formed by connecting a front cowling and a rear cowling. The front cowling is provided with a flange in which a through hole is formed. The long sides of the through hole are formed in parallel with a cylinder axis of a cylinder section. A gate provided on a lower connecting edge portion of the rear cowling with which the flange overlaps is inserted into the through hole and connected by the clip. The front cowling and the rear cowling are fastened through a bolt on a vehicle body side above and below the connecting section by the clip. With this structure, the force applied to the connecting section is reduced and the connecting section is decreased in size.

Connecting structure of vehicle component parts

A clip couples a first member with a first through-hole, and a second member with a second through-hole. The clip includes a flexible cylindrical portion having a predetermined center axis line, opening two ends, and formed so that a distance from the center axis line to an outside surface is different in a rotational direction around the center axis line. The center axis line is orthogonal to an axis line of the coupling hole, and the cylindrical portion is inserted into a coupling hole rotatably between a first rotational position and a second rotational position around the center axis line. The cylindrical portion is set to have a distance between the center axis line and the outside surface to be loosely fitted in the coupling hole at the first rotational position and to be clamped between hole walls of the coupling hole at the second rotational position.

A clip includes a clip body, displacement portions, engagement portions and curved protruding portions. The clip body can be accommodated between a first through-hole of a protruding portion of a first object to be fixed and a second object to be fixed. The displacement portions are provided on both end portions of the clip body along a virtual line. The engagement portions are provided at leading end side of the displacement portions so as to engage with the protruding portion when the clip body is pulled out from the first through-hole. The curved protruding portions provided at both end portions of the clip body and each are engaged with a curved corner portion formed in the second object to be fixed when the clip body is pulled out from the first through-hole.

In a cowling fastening structure () for fastening a first cowling member () and a second cowling member () to each other by using a clip (), the two cowling members are provided with opposing walls () having a mutually aligned through holes () formed therein, the clip is provided with a first member () and a second member () joined by a hinge (). A free end of the first member formed with an engagement hole () is passed through the through holes, and a free end of the second member formed with an engagement claw () is passed around the opposing walls so as to engage the engagement claw with the engagement hole.
