An article supply apparatus capable of supplying an article, comprises an accommodation unit in which articles are accommodated; a supply unit which supplies at least one of the articles accommodated in the accommodation unit; an operation unit capable of performing an operation in order to supply the at least one of the articles from the supply unit; a lock unit which locks the operation unit so as to make the operation to the operation unit unavailable; a control unit which releases a lock of the lock unit; and a notification control unit, capable of notifying a first state where the lock of the lock unit and a second state where the operation of the operation unit is completed, wherein a way of notification of the first state is different from that of the second state.

Article supply apparatus and article supply system

This invention relates to an oil-extended natural rubber capable of improving a tensile strength and a wear resistance of a rubber composition, and more particularly to an oil-extended natural rubber formed by adding an emulsified extension oil to a natural rubber latex and further coagulating and drying them. An amount of the extension oil added is preferable to be within a range of 5-80% by mass based on a rubber component in the natural rubber latex and the oil-extended natural rubber is preferable to have a weight average molecular weight as converted to polystyrene of a rubber component of not less than 1,500,000.

Oil-extended natural rubber and method for producing the same and rubber composition and tire using the same

There are provided a modified natural rubber made from a modified natural rubber latex, in which a polar group-containing monomer is graft-polymerized to natural rubber latex, and a rubber composition comprising such a modified natural rubber and carbon black and/or silica. Also, there are provided a modified natural rubber latex in which a tin-containing monomer or an alkoxysilyl group-containing monomer is graft-polymerized to natural rubber latex and a modified natural rubber made therefrom and a rubber composition comprising such a modified natural rubber.

A nano-particle composition including a poly(alkenylbenzene) core and a poly (conjugated diene) or a poly(alkylene) surface layer is provided. The nano-particles have a mean average diameter less than about 100 nm. The nano-particles can be modified via, for example, hydrogenation or functionalization. The nano-particles can advantageously be incorporated into rubbers, elastomers, and thermoplastics.

Nano-particle preparation and applications

A nano-particle composition including a poly(alkenylbenzene) core and a poly(conjugated diene), a poly(alkylene), or a poly(alkenylbenzene) surface layer is provided. The nano-particles have a mean average diameter of less than about 100 nm. The nano-particles can be modified via, for example, hydrogenation or functionalization. The nano-particles can be advantageously be incorporated into rubbers, elastomers, and thermoplastics.

Disclosed is a rubber composition having excellent low loss characteristics and capable of imparting a tire with wear resistance and fracture resistance. The rubber composition is obtained by blending a carbon black, which has a toluene coloring transmittance of not less than 90% while satisfying the following relation between the hydrogen emission rate (mass %) and the cetyltrimethylammonium bromide adsorption specific surface area (CTAB) (m/g): the hydrogen emission rate &#x3e;0.260&#x2212;6.25&#xd7;10&#xd7;CTAB, into a modified natural rubber which is obtained by adding a polar group-containing monomer into a natural rubber latex for graft-polymerizing the polar group-containing monomer to a natural rubber molecule in the natural rubber latex, and then solidifying and drying the resulting product.

Rubber composition and tire using the same

A polymer nano-particle composition is provided, wherein the nano-particle includes a poly(alkenylbenzene) core and a surface layer including poly(conjugated diene). A method for self-assembly of the nano-particles is also provided. The polymer nano-particles are preferably less than about 100 nm in diameter.

Self assembly of molecules to form nano-particles

A nano-particle composition including a poly (alkenylbenzene) core and a poly (conjugated diene) or a poly(alkylene) surface layer is provided. A rubber composition comprises a polar group-containing diene polymer synthesized through an emulsion polymerization as a rubber component, and an inorganic filler represented by a formula of mM.xSiO .zH O wherein M is a metal selected from the group consisting of aluminum, magnesium, titanium and calcium, an oxide or a hydroxide of such a metal or an hydrate thereof, m is an integer of 1 to 5, x is an integer of 0 to 10, y is an integer of 2 to 5 and z is an integer of 0 to 10.

Rubber composition

A styrene-butadiene copolymer having excellent low hysteresis loss characteristic, wet skid resistance, fracture characteristics, and abrasion resistance and a rubber composition comprising the copolymer are disclosed. The styrene-butadiene copolymer has a total styrene content in the range of 33 to 42% by weight of the styrene-butadiene copolymer; a content of styrene sequences having 4 to 20 styrene units in the range of 40 to 65% by weight of the total styrene content, as obtained by measurements by NMR and GPC; a content of styrene sequences having more than 20 styrene units in the range of 5% by weight or less of the total styrene content, as obtained by measurement by GPC; a content of vinyl unit in the range of 30% by mol or less of a butadiene part of the styrene-butadiene copolymer; a sum of the total styrene value and &frac12; of the content of vinyl units in the range of 46 to 52%; and an inner or end structure having, for example tin-carbon bond. The copolymer and the rubber composition are used for tire treads and the like.
