Disclosed is a method for producing resin particles, which can impart a desired function to the surface of resin particles efficiently and simply. Also disclosed are resin particles produced by the method. The method produces resin particles by melting and mixing an acidic-group-containing thermoplastic resin or elastomer with filler particles and a water-soluble material to give a resin composition containing resin fine particles formed by the thermoplastic resin and the filler particles and dispersed in a matrix including the water-soluble material; and removing the matrix component from the resin composition, to give the resin particles. The resulting resin particles each include a core particle including the acidic-group-containing thermoplastic resin or elastomer, and the filler particles immobilized on the outside of the core particle. The acidic group is preferably carboxyl group or carboxylic anhydride group.

Method for production of resin particle

In a molded composite article, a resin member comprising a non-urethane thermoplastic resin and a resin member comprising a thermoplastic polyurethane resin are directly joined with each other. The non-urethane thermoplastic resin comprises at least one member selected from the group consisting of a polyamide component having an alicyclic ring and an amino group-containing compound, or each of the non-urethane thermoplastic resins and the thermoplastic polyurethane has a polyether segment. Even if the base resin is a non-urethane thermoplastic resin, the present invention provides a direct and firm bonding between the non-urethane thermoplastic resin member and the thermoplastic polyurethane resin member.

Molded composite article, process for producing the same, and a joinable resin

The present invention is directed to a composite comprising a resin element comprising a resin composition and a vulcanized rubber element formed by vulcanizing an unvulcanized rubber, wherein the resin composition comprises a resin, a vulcanization-activating agent for improving adhesiveness of the resin to a rubber, and a stabilizer, and the resin composition and the vulcanized rubber are directly joined together.

Resin composition and composite using the composition and production process thereof

A resin composition comprises a resin, a vulcanization-activating agent, and a stabilizer. The vulcanization-activating agent may be a compound having a plurality of polymerizable unsaturated bonds (e.g., a compound having a plurality of (meth)acryloyl groups). The stabilizer may be an antioxidant, or a light stabilizer (particularly, a stabilizer is capable of capturing a radical). Use of the resin composition as a resin material ensures to directly join between a resin and a rubber certainly and firmly. The proportion of the vulcanization-activating agent may be about 0.1 to 10 parts by weight relative to 100 parts by weight of the resin. The proportion of the stabilizer may be about 0.01 to 5 parts by weight relative to 100 parts by weight of the resin. The present invention provides a resin composition excellent in adhesiveness to a rubber.

In a molded composite article formed by directly bonding a resin member comprising a polyamide-series resin to a resin member comprising a thermoplastic polyurethane-series resin, the polyamide-series resin comprises a polyamide block copolymer containing (A) a polyether segment having at least one terminal imino group. The polyamide-series resin may comprise a polyamide-series resin having a free amino group in a concentration of not less than about 10 mmol/kg. The molded composite article is producible, for example, by heating at least one of the polyamide-series resin and the thermoplastic polyurethane-series resin to bond the former to the latter. Thus obtained molded composite article is suitable for a member of a shoe and an industrial roll. In such a process, the polyamide-series resin member and the thermoplastic polyurethane-series resin member both of which are different in nature from each other can be directly and firmly bonded together.

Molded composite article and process for producing the same

A resin comprises a resin containing a vulcanization-activating agent, or crosslinkable group-containing resin (e.g., a resin having an unsaturated bond). Moreover, a composite dispersion may be formed by a combination of a specific resin and rubber [e.g., (a) a combination of a resin, and an unvulcanized rubber containing a vulcanizing agent and a vulcanization-activating agent at a specific ratio; (b) a combination of a polyamide-series resin, and an unvulcanized rubber containing a vulcanizing agent and a polyalkenylene at a specific ratio; (c) a combination of a resin and a silicone-series unvulcanized rubber; and (d) a combination of a polyphenylene ether-series resin containing a polyalkenylene, and an unvulcanized rubber containing a sulfur or sulfur-containing organic compound as a vulcanizing agent]. The present invention provides a composite dispersion which comprises a continuous phase comprising a resin, and a dispersed phase being firmly bonded to the continuous phase and comprising a vulcanized rubber in a wide range of a combination of the resin and the rubber.

Composite dispersion and process for producing the same

In a molded composite article formed by directly joining a resin member comprising a polyamide-series resin to a resin member comprising a thermoplastic polyurethane-series resin, as the polyamide-series resin, a polyamide-series resin having an amino group of not less than 10 mmol/kg is used. The molded composite article may be produced by heating at least any one of the polyamide-series resin and the thermoplastic polyurethane-series resin to join to the other resin.

Composite formed body and method for producing same

A composite of a resin member bonded to a vulcanized rubber member is obtained with using a rubber member vulcanized with a radical-generating agent (e.g., an organic peroxide) and a thermoplastic resin having at least 2 atoms, on average, selected from H and S atom per molecule, each atom having not less than 0.006 of an orbital interaction energy coefficient S represented by the following formula (1):=()|+()| &#x2003;&#x2003;(1)wherein E: an orbital energy (eV) of a radical, C: a molecular-orbital coefficient of a highest occupied molecular orbital (HOMO) of an n-th H or S atom constituting a basic unit of the resin, E: an orbital energy (eV) of the HOMO, C: a molecular-orbital coefficient of a lowest unoccupied molecular orbital (LUMO) of the n-th H or S atom constituting the basic unit of the resin, E: an orbital energy (eV) of the LUMO, and above all represent a value calculated by a semiempirical molecular orbital method MOPACPM3. The thermoplastic resin includes a polyamide, a polyester, a PPE, a POM, a PPS, a polyolefinic resins, and the unvulcanized rubber may comprise a vulcanization-activating having plural polymerizable unsaturated bonds. The invention gives the composite of the resin bonded directly to the rubber firmly without adhesives in wide combinations of the resin and the rubber.

Composite material and method for preparation thereof

A composite of a resin member bonded to a rubber member is obtained by molding a resin molding element and a rubber molding element with contacting said elements each other, and vulcanizing or crosslinking the rubber molding element, wherein said resin molding element is either of a resin composition and a resin member, each comprising the thermoplastic resin; and said rubber molding element is either of a rubber composition and a rubber premolded article, each comprising at least an unvulcanized silicone rubber, and a radical-generating agent (e.g., organic peroxides) being activating on a surface to be contacted with said resin molding element. The thermoplastic resin includes a polyamide-series resin, a polyester-serires resin, a PPE-series resin, etc. The unvulcanized rubber composition may comprise a polyfunctional compound having plural polymerizable groups. Such a process can give a composite composed of a thermoplastic resin molded article bonded to a vulcanized silicone rubber molded article directly and firmly without an adhesive treatment.

The membrane comprises a skin layer comprising a crosslinking reaction product of a water-soluble polysaccharide having a sulfonate group and/or a sulfonic acid group and a polyfunctional melamine compound. Polytetramethyleneterephthalate is modified with incorporation of 2-methyl-1,3-propanediol. The diol component of the polyester comprises 1 to 99 mol % of tetramethylene glycol and 99 to 1 mol % of 2-methyl-1,3-propanediol. Alternatively polytetramethylene terephthalate is combined with 0.1 to 25 wt. %, based thereon, of poly-2-methyl-1,3-propylene terephthalate.
